Buck-up or bow out?

Bro's before Ho's.

Good riding buddies are always good riding buddies, no matter what you ride.

If you have to have a high boosted Apex to get to good snow and can't do it with pump gas boosted 2 stokes, then you guys might want to reevaluate your riding styles...and areas. LOL

bow out for the rest of this season, then you'll freak out and come back with the biggest baddest sled of any of your buddies

It's like going grocery shopping on an empty stomach lol

Well at least the 2nd half of your post is correct.

As for the 1st half...

Hey look at that its me on youtube!!!:D

No seriously I love riding that T apex. I rode the stock Apex quite a bit last year and now that my dad got the T Nytro he lets my ride his T Apex and I love it. I love being able to have that much power when i need it. I love pullin up to a hill and know that I have the power to make it up, now I get to play around more on the way up. I don't have to side hill to make it out, but i do because it is just that much more fun. Yes sometimes I just point and shoot, but how many times does that really happen. Only on the long pulls that are super steep. Most of the time I am only half throttle going up the hills and when I need more I have it there. I am not rapped out the entire way up the hill. On the T Apex in the trees I know I can carve across the hill and then just hit it and turn up hill without getting stuck. I can't say that for my REV. I got stuck on that same hill 2 times with my REV the week before and the snow wasn't as deep. Now granted the Apex is more work to get out when I do get it stuck, but I don't get stuck as much as I did with my REV. So I will take only digging my sled out once a trip instead of 5 times a trip. In the long run I don't work as hard because I don't have to digg out as often. Go find a built Turbo or a used stock one and turbo it. There is no need to buy a brand new Yami and turbo it. You can find some cheap ones out there.
There is no substitute for power.

I have ridden with you guys before. Your buds are riding Apexes that have been put on a 100+ pd diet, and running over 20 pds of boost. Your not going to pull the chutes they pull on a turbo M8 race gas or not. An M1000 won't always do it either. You could built a 1200 and keep up as long as you can keep it working. (not good odds)

IMO your guys have changed their focus of riding, and they now live to climb big chutes. They love the adrenaline rush that comes with this type of riding. The $hit they were pulling last year was as big as anything I have seen in any video. They don't believe they give up anything as far as boondocking goes riding these sleds. Obviously from your post you have already seen enough to formulate an opinion about this.

If you're going to keep riding with them you need to buck up. The good news is you can buy the sled you need already built for about 1/2 of what it costs to build them.
