Most of us know that Vforce have there issues, But what about Boysen. I always had good luck and noticed a difference with them on my 02' 800. I don't think I've seen any opinions about Boysen in a long time. Wasn't there some other brands out there? I personally have had bad luck with Vforce on my 07d7, it has been a mod engine for 2 years and now I'm going turbo. So now I need stock reeds, for now.

From what I have heard it's not that reeds are bad but that there are not getting lubed like they use to with carbs. I would think there would be a problem with all reeds. Maybe someone ells know better then me I still have carbs.
well i emailed them to see now im waitingto hear back from them, when i do i post what they say and let u all know.
I spoke with Dag (Daahg) Boyesen and the engineer at Boyesen at length today.
They currently offer replacement "Super Stock" reed petals for the stock blocks for $29 per block... As well as Turbo Replacement reeds for the stock blocks at around $39 per block. The turbo reeds are made slightly thicker and with a different resin that holds up to the temps better.
The Boyesen "Rage Cage" in the final testing stages before release in numbers this month.
They also have quite a few tricks up their sleeve that we will see here in the near future for naturally aspirated and turbo applications in different stages also with cast aluminum "boots" for the turbo guys that keep blowing boots.
You will hear more on this beginning of December/before the holidays.
I'll let you know more as I hear it.

I loved my Boysen reeds on my old 05 EVS.
O5 AND 06 700/900 Reed blocks are the same as the later model 700 and 800 Reed blocks... the stuffers are different as are the boots.
