Boondocker kit for AXYS

I've wondered the same thing. If that sled he is riding truly is the $4k kit then it's going to be a ripper and exactly what I was hoping for. But if he's got the baddest kit installed with all the pricey parts then well I'll say touché Boondocker for tricking all of us who ordered that kit. I'll give a full ride report and try and get some video next week when I get the sled out. I think it'll be nice for people to hear a review from someone who isn't paid by Boondocker or Polaris. Needles to say I'm extremely excited to finally have a boosted sled been dreaming about it for years!
 
I rode the base kit 2 weeks ago, and I am 99% sure that's what Chis was on. It runs VERY good. The bottom end is super snappy and pulls hard. For boondocking it is going to be awesome! I have the bigger MTA turbo and am starting to get it broke in. I am totally impressed with the bottom end throttle response of these new sleds with a turbo. I had a fully built Carls motor last year, with the lite weight crank, and this years kit/sled has twice the bottom end and mid range. Hopefully I get the intercooler on this weekend then we can really see what shes got :)

Please do a build thread with lots of in depth pics of the progress to build! Would be awesome to see all the parts, the fitment, etc. Is the turbo lubed from the oil pump of the sled or independent oil system?

And I am super impressed on the bottom end throttle response of Burandt's videos. It seems to have better bottom end than a stocker! And spool up is crazy fast. I would love to own one, but am scared after two failed attempts of turbos in Alaska... But maybe next year!

It's the same non adjustable pump gas kit everyone else is getting. End of story!!! He has told many of his build customers that's all they need but nobody believes it.

A few weeks ago you guys were disappointed and now, nobody believes it ..... Oh boy.

Plan is to ride Wednesday after we get it all installed Monday. Going to head up to star valley area and ride. After this weekends storms in the area it should be pretty good snow!
 
We got her all installed today. Thanks to tanner gittins he did the whole thing. We ripped it down the road since its been snowing all day and man I can't wait to get it off the trail in some real snow. It rips!

I ordered the $3995 kit. Just click order you won't regret it! I'm just waiting for my a arms to get in and will be out riding! Feel like a kid on Christmas Eve
 
My new a arms will be in Friday so I can get my bent one fixed. I took the sled up providence canyon which is super close to my house and I rode it up the road about 6 miles. All I can say is WOW. I seriously can't wait for the weekend to get off the trail on it. The turbo spools quick, it's spot on as far as the fuel mapping goes straight from Boondocker and it hauls a$$. I think this kit is going to be a game changer I had a smile the whole time on my face and I was just ripping it up the road. I feel like it has awesome amount of power. With what I can tell so far this kit is exactly what I was hoping for! If your on the fence about ordering the pump gas kit I would highly recommend it. I'll be able to give a full report on it after this weekend and I'll try and get a video loaded up too.

how many lbs of boost is it set for ?
or is it whatever the customer sets it at ?

This is something that HM turbos was doing on the vipec last years.

That is correct. The box comes pre tuned and there's no buttons to adjust. Just plug it in and install it under the hood and ride!

You can go to a dealer and get a new map loaded to it. But its pretty spot on.

Also, I said go easy on the roads! :face-icon-small-ton I know its difficult
