Well I'll tell ya what mine was,
Tether installed from dealer. Worked fine and I checked it in the field. However if you put side pressure on it at the perfect angle it would kill it. It was a slight pressure and only at one specific angle. Hope it gets going for you soon.

The motor never dies, it just feels, sounds acts as if loaded up with fuel on bottom end. Then when it reaches about 5,300 it clears out so to speak but still seems to lack power. No DET light.
