Blue Mountains 2011/2012

Plumnuts had to take a peak under the hood of the cat to marvel at all the bling under there. (Documented)

funny Cat puts "bling" under the hood... everyone else puts an engine there... which reminds me I need to get a stronger rear bumper for towing Cats:becky:

OK....whos not doing their daily snow dance routines......dammit people, we have to work together here!

:tea:

It is all my fault. I put the plow on the tractor right before T-day. I have rectified the situation the plow is off. Let it snow!:sorry:

Rode out of Rose Springs on the 27 and 28. Moisture was rain all the way to the clearwater guard station on the 28th. Ended up turning around due to a broken throttle cable. Also seemed to loose a Garmin Rino 120. Think it would be in the gravel pit near clear water guard station. It belongs to a 10yr old who's dad would love to find it. If found please let me know. Thanks and there needs to be more snow.

Bluewood got 5-6 inches of new after it cooled off friday morning. The ski area took a couple days off on Thurs-Friday, but they are open Saturday.
There is snow down low, just not much. Ride with caution.

Rode out of Cloverland today. A much better ride than anticipated. The snow down low sucked! The snow near Misery was Okay but it did have a very weird 2 inch crust layer with bottomless underneath that. Rode off the trail a lot.

All I have to say is Mr. Plum rode with a set of steel balls today. Just before we got to Misery he pulled/tore a leg muscle. He rode the rest of the day. Kudos!

It was nice to meet Nick.

Rode out of Cloverland today with CB 8 and NickBro... concrete at the parking lot and azzholes in 4 wheel drives have torn the road up down low. Anyway about 5500 feet and there was more snow... at the marker there was 3 feet. Sunshine and actually not bad... as you can see in the photos below.. $2000 in motor mods and the Cat still gets stuck (way down the hill in the trees.. stuck... driving along the trail... STUCK...) Any pictures of a Ski-Doo stuck must be Photo Shop

Plum, why did you have to sidehill out the B run both times. Do you need some motor work too?? Mine digs holes a lot faster now.

And they are not Skidoo they are Skidon'ts.

So CB 8, what was going though your mind right before you got stuck and all forward momentum came to a ceasing halt?

Here is a photo opportunity. Washed out on rocks, went from horizontal to vertical in less then a second.
