Just did a quick look ....

Saturday - High of - 5

86% Chance of light Snow

Sunday - High - 5 also

80 % Chance of Snow

Robin has a Group out today ....The Sun is Shining and a Temp. -14

There is a Inversion up Top... they are seeing Temps. of +2 and +4

Sounds like YOU will be seeing the Freash POW !!!

The Cabin is booked for the Season....sorry...

The Holy Smoke Inn has room during the week in Feb. ?? I don't know Humm...

Does it matter to You if You come on Week Day or Weekend ??

If not I can take You faster on a Weekday.

Well...newfiedoo....Dreams come " TRUE " !!!

It is Snowing as We speak !! Blue River has had about 6-10 inches !

We are forecasted to receive 20-30 cms.

Ahhh....Just another Blue River Skif !!!

Everyone at The Holy Smoke Inn has had a "AWESOME " Time this weekend ....( that's what they told Me !! )

Our Chef at the Holy Smoke Inn has the Sledders eating ....Warm Cookies...and RAW Cookie Dough !!! LOL !! ( Boy's will be Boy's ) LOL ....

She is " EXTREMELY " well liked....The Hot Lunches are a HUGE HIT !!

I will Post again Tomorrow and give a Avalanche and Weather Update.

The Roads are back to " Winter " Driving Conditions !!!... Compact , Slippery !!

well after riding there sunday i have to tell you that blue river is the place for me your snow there is the best i have seen in years and your hospitality is awesome i will definitely be back! sorry we couldn't stay to help robin with that stuck sled time was short had to hit the road hope u got it out okay!

Forecast of Avalanche Danger....
The Concerns are...

1. Slabs in the Alpine and Treeline !

2. Loose Snow Avalanches at ALL Elevations where Terrain Traps exist !

3. At and below Treeline in Shallow Snowpack Areas, a Facet on Crust persistent weak layer buried in Early December. Avalanche Danger rated based on about 25cms. of New Snow and little Windslab formation over the last few days.

Travel Advisory.....

Avoid Slopes of more than 30 degrees if firm slabby layers exist on the Surface.

On ALL Slopes , minimize or eliminate exposer to Terrain Traps, such as Gullies, Treewells , depression, & Sharpe transitions from Sharpe to Flat.

BELOW TREELINE....LOW

It has been pretty darn Cold here as it has been like that everywhere !
