I disagree that Obama is the one to lead us out of this mess, but I respect your opinion. I just don't see how he thinks we're going to pay for all the programs he wants to implement.

For the love of God, neither Obama or McCain will "take away" your riding area. Or your guns. They do not have the POWER to do so. Supreme Court does though and they are majority REPUBLICANS. 8th grade Civics.

Go take that Civics class again. Congress can draft a bill that would include new "Wilderness Areas", they only need a majority vote, and when Obama signs it, BAM it's a law. They can make laws to take anything away, The Supreme Court interprets whether the laws they make are unconstitutional or not. Checks and balances. The Supreme Court will not be majority conservatives for long if Obama gets in. He will get to appoint a couple new justices.
If Congress wanted to they could try and make a law that would ban the owning of guns. It wouldn't get through Congress though. There aren't that many hippies yet, at least I don't think so.
That's exactly what they did with Prohibition, made an amendment to repeal another amendment.Educate yourself people!!!!!

CO you are partly right, the President can not solely take away your riding areas but the House and the Senate can. Obama + Democratic run House + Democratic run Senate = Less land to ride in. I realize the link is a little long but please read half way to see what we lost in the state of WA due to DEMS controling House, Senate and Governor. It may not seem like much and alot of the area is not accessible, but, some of it was. Just my .02

Why are you complaining? I would be happy to pay an additional $20 a year! It is not a lot of money and people coming to town increases, what does that mean? more jobs. Not all jobs are $50,000 a year.

Look, we need to get more money into the lobbyists than the Sierra Club and similar idiots bring in. But sledders, dirt bike and ATV riders are not that active in this stuff. Me included.
