I have a boondockers system and it works good. Nitrous is great as long as you don't expect to beat turbos. If you run 30-40 hp it is a lot of fun and gives extra power when you really need it but not all day long. If you have a good system and don't hold the button for more than 8 seconds at a time it shouldn't hurt your motor.

Boondocker nitrous is great just don't get greedy keep it at a 30-50hp shot and just have fun with it.

Boondocker and BOSS NOSS are both great systems. BOSS NOSS service sucks but there are plenty of experienced folks on here that can help you out if needed. BOSS NOSS is the simplest to install and set up if you are runing a carbed sled which i assume you are (03 800 Polaris).

SNOW JW was very helpfull to me with information as well as offering to help me out with parts if I needed them.

Boss Noss and Boondocker are good but.....

I've been running a Nitrous Express Wet Kit and it is so much more consistant than any dry system I've been around not too mention the tunability is infinite. For whatever reason I can run a 40hp shot and my bottles last a lot longer than a boondocker or boss kit and it doesn't fade towards the end of bottle.

Don't leave me hanging. There's gotta be a few more out there that are advocates of the wet kits.

i ran a boss noss system for a couple years and it worked good, never had any problems with burn downs or nething. tuning was simple took less than a half hour on the trail. i noticed it a lot more drag racing compared to hill climbing but it still worked. i even held the button down for 45+ secons once and it surrvived. ( i was changing pistons out to the 06 pistons on my poo 900 the next day any ways so i figured i would see how long it could go and once i said one thousand 45 in my head i decided that was long enough)

I'm with JROD and student driver on this one, NX kit for me - have three years with it and the only problems I have encountered is my own fault!! Do they work heck yes!! JROD I believe the reason you can run a 40 shot and out last the dry systems is because the dry systems fog the airbox/pod compared to the wet systems injecting the intake tract downstream of the carb -takes more nitrous to make the same power if it's fogged in the airbox.
I too purchased my kit from High Mark and then added a few goodies on to it.

Love my BD kit. I think it really depends on wat your going for because I believe that the wet systems are more expensive/complicated no?

What did you end up adding? I put a gauge and a fuel pressure safety switch. That switch should come with the kit.

plain and simple explanation:

wet systems inject nitrous as well as fuel...typically post carbs

dry systems inject just nitrous...typically pre carbs

A wet system injects fuel and nitrous through the same nozzle.

A dry syste injects only nitrous through the nozzle, but still increases the fuel to the motor through some other method. To inject only nitrous would result in an almost immediate burn down (unless you were jetted rich to begin with).

I liked my BD kit, but I am not running it on my XP. It's a dual manifold system designed to be universal with pods but you can make it work with an airbox. It has the updated BD adjustabel regulator (no matter the bottle pressure the hit stays the same and you can adjust the HP shot from 15-50)

I'm trying to sell it, all you have to do is download the installation instruction from Boondockers.

I agree the switch should come with the kit. I added the switch, fuel press. and N2O gauge and custom bottle heater - all powered off the stator, no battery in the sled. I also used the oil injection cable (premix) and made a trick bracket for a full throttle safety switch. I really like my set-up, It's alot of fun...........but the turbo guy's will make you look stupid, been there done that!

By the time you get all your lines and crap in there it looks like a hydraulic system off a track-hoe with all the fittings, wires and lines and such.
