Bend a steering post back straight?

My experience: 1 bend-back, still pretty strong, if not kinked bad, 2nd bend back, pretty weak, no jumps or bumps, 3rd bend-back, hold onto the gas cap for the tow out.
Steel rod w/ epoxy around it after the first bend back lasted forever on one sled, and it didn't bend again.

I bent and then broke off the post on my '97 Summit way back in Gorman. That was a very long day getting out. Thanks again to all my buds that day! :D

If you're riding any distance from your truck, don't do it. Just wait and swap in the new one, your friends will thank you!

Post will be here monday. One ride with it bent won't kill me I guess, the hardest thing will be riding with the buggered up shock.
