Bar Riser length

I want to raise my handlebars up but dont want to extend any of the cables. Does anyone know how tall i can go without doing that?

I have done both one and two inch risers without any cable or wire length issues..

I'm running an RSI 3" on mine, and it fits perfect with no cable extensions. Not sure if you can go higher than that, but if you did, it would be tight.

Rox 3.5 inch and thats the max with stock cables.had to move some about and trim the small plastic wire/hood holder bracket a bit but does fit/work a OK

thanks everyone, sounds like I'll put a 3" on, too worried bout breakin stuff or screwin up with trimming.
