Baker saturday!

ka'mon glacier crusiers. give us another grooming. Your true waRshintonians arnt ya?!

I think it is a you want it you pay for it type of deals, the glacier cruizers have done a lot.......financially too. Grooming is pretty worthless now anyways, warm temps and smooth trails doesn't happen. Think of it as weeding out, less people better riding. :beer;

...as a former Board of directors member of Applevalley Snowmobile Club in Wenatchee I can tell you that we had contracts for grooming with the State, as do most all other groomers. We actually made money over the long haul from grooming...I doubt that anyone is grooming for free...Sure there were some years that are better than others but after 5 years we were able to trade in the Tucker for a new Bambardier groomer. granted we only had one paid operator and the rest were volunteers, including the maintenance mech.

I am wondering why the state sells us snowpark passes(in our registration) that are required thru April yet there is NO grooming being done..tons of money in the State for Meth programs though.

Deep - I appreciate your point of view, but I can assure you that the groomer at Baker and the parking lot plowers at baker have been working their arses off on donated time, donated money, donated diesel and donated equipment. Don't know much about the long haul, but there certainly hasn't been enough money this year. Cheers to the Glacier Cruisers and their club members who have stepped up. :beer;:beer;
