I have had the chance to see this new BCA Mountain vest and it is great. I was skeptical and thought it would feel heavy, or constrictive but it doesn't! You almost can not feel the weight of the back with the design and how the weight is distributed.

The storage will be small for some at 12 liters. I currently have a Flat 22 and its more than I need so the 12 will be perfect. The production models should also have an external shovel holder which will gain back some of that space which is lost.

Next year I will be wearing one for sure. I expect they will sell a lot!

How does the vest interact with a neck brace? Perhaps this is more dealing with the tech vest portion but the combination bag/armor has me interested.

Is the vest going to have a crotch strap?

I have a SnowPulse Vest that does not and I feel that is a major safety oversight.

Scott if you do an images google search of "BCA AVY Vest" some of the images originally posted on here are up there. You just need to sort through them.

If anyone can give me advice on how to get more than just one pic at a time to upload on here that sure would be helpful! I am able to select the maximum but when I hit the upload button it only grabs the last pic I chose....if I try to upload one at a time it only saves the last one and won't accumulate the lot.
