I have had my sled for sale for a couple weeks now, posted in several differnt places, here, local bargin finder, trader magizine and havn't got a single call or email! is anything moving right now??

I sold my Rev.....had to lower my price and it took about a month. It was a VERY clean sled too.

See your in Alberta....selling sleds in Canada anytime after January seems to be a lost cause, this year in particular.

Ive had mine for sale for a couple months now but, only have posted it twice on CL every two weeks. have had a bunch of hits but its still in the backyard.. Im asking less than what it it actually worth.

haydays

At this point, it would be better to seal it in the shed with a dust cover and take it out next sept and polish it up. If it is shinny and clean, it will sell at haydays.

I'm looking for a sled now, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Unfortunately for you Lefty, I'm looking for a Cat.

Sold my wifes M7 in a couple days. People just need to price their sleds accordingly. The prices people typically ask on Snowest are unrealisticly high. That being said, I do all our sled buying and selling on CL.

Anyone have an 06 Rev 151 they are looking to sell? I need to replace that M7.

Typically this time of year sleds do not sell all that well, that said tough times are hitting every where and are only going to increase at this time. if you look in snowest people are parting out newer sleds than ever before and lots of them because they can not sell them. It is a big time buyers market out there for any camodity you want. well not food . people are trying to hold there prices up where they think they should be or the book tells them. in most cases this is not reality. my beleif is if you think it's bad right now just wait untill next year it is going to be far worse. if you have any offers you better consider it and think about whats in your future as well. Yes not every one is with out a job but more and more are all the time. We are now heading towards 700.000 people loosing there jobs each month. 700,000 that is a bunch and it is gaining speed whos next you your neighbor? where can you find a quality job. all i'm saying is think about it. Where would all the jobs come from to put every one back to work? and how soon? Just think about it is not going to turn around over night or in a few months.

Thinking about it...

But with times being what they are , I am going to keep the sleds we have and repair whats needed. No mods, no bling, just the stuff that keeps em running. Havent gone back to work yet....latest its ever been for me. I know of a few sleds for sale around here and not much happening. Dino

Sleds seem to be selling just at a lower price than they would go for say last year at this time. Allot of guys are now able to upgrade to a newer Dragon or M8 for a realy good price.

That, my friend, is an understatement.
Unfortunately, people almost always price their used sleds based on what they feel it's worth.
They think that since they paid a lot for it that they can get a lot for it.
Maybe the memories from rides on it make them feel they can ask more than it's really worth???

I always see people trying to sell something and they will ask how much they should try to sell it for or what is it worth?

It is only worth as much as somebody will pay for it.

This time of the year sleds are worth MAYBE 75% of what they were worth at the beginning of last season. Probably much less.
Sell it for what someone will give to you for it. just don't expect to get much.
A lot of the prices being asked for most of the sleds in the swap meet section make me laugh.

I'm in Real Estate and a lot of people selling (not all) still think it's 2007. They are always chasing the market down by being just above market value then wonder why their property is not selling.
I don't see any differance on sleds. The market has changed and unless peeps adjust price and attitude sleds won't sell.

Just my .02 cents, now I'll take my soap box and leave.;)

What did you get for it if you don't mind me asking?

country is in the sh!ter.nothing selling.the people that are buying want a new sled wit allmost no miles for nothing.

I think alot of people are hurtin' right now and they need to get as much as they can for whatever it is they are trying to sell. So they start high. They can always come down.

My sled is for sale, and i know that i am asking more than what it is probably worth but i am willing to listen to any offers that people have. Just haven't heard any yet, may be waiting for next fall to sell her
