arctic cat 1100 turbo plugin ECU now released.

Jesus thats pricey! I've already got an ECU, and that can be reprogrammed by some other fellas on here by the sounds of it. They've got their mapping finished too. What else ya sellin? LOL

That's kinda spendy when you can get a upgraded turbo and programed ecu with the other go fast goodies for around the same price. So with your programming how will you get the baby turbo to make more than 215hp at 8,000 ft if no one else can? How are you going to put a price on something and then not even have hp numbers to prove why it's $2,200 JMO

Sounds like you got it figured. It looks like Evolution is working towrds making the 1100 a stronger runner. Will take more than a Magic box to get that sled to where it needs to be to run with the big boys.

Yep, bigger turbo's, better BOV/BRV's, better inter-cooling etc etc. I would imagine in the next season or two that bigger cams and/or valves, port polish will be the next big thing. Exciting times for the ole 1100 turbo!:)

I think the market for this ECU is gonna go over better with the 2 stroke turbo crowd. I was very excited last season for this ECU but I'm going 4 stroke this year. The market for this product is probably very small in the 1100 turbo community as compared to the 800 community considering what Evolution is able to do with the stock ECU and with their Turbo hardware that they offer. There might be a few guy's who want to be able to mess with the ECU parameters but I think most will be happy running at either 215, 250 or 290 HP. The idea of changing power levels on the hill with a switch sounds good to the ears but in reality never really happens on the hill for most turbo sled owners. There are some, but over all people set their boost/power level and ride. Changing power levels on the hill means messing around with clutch weight etc. I just wanna set it and go.

I do wish Precision EFI luck with their product as they have been working on this project for quite some time now. I don't mean what I've stated above as a bash or anything, just telling it how I see it. Maybe I'm wrong, time will tell.

Good luck fellas!:)

The big boys....

What if the magic box has that 497.5hp tune....will that be enough? Baaahaa.

Unless I'm missing something, coming off a yami for 4 years I have a pretty good idea of what we are up against in the 4s arena with the 1100's. Lotta yami doubters out there but I'm confident we'll be able to hold our own. Just want to keep in mind that once the comparisons start flying that it's apples to apples. A sub 20k build is not something to compare to a 30k yamie build. Common sense has to enter into this at some point.

What's more amusing to me is that for a little more money you can have 95hp less on a Nitro than a BC275 kit on a 1100.....or spend 4k and have slightly better hp than a stock 1100. Value is great.

Pretty good time to own a second year sled as it gets all the needed parts to make it more than competitive on the hill with the yamies......and FYI the SC290 is not the biggest kit that will be available.

as you can see from 3:11 min of the video, our race sled is a fully build motor, clutch, valves, cams, bov, intercooler, exhaust, turbo upgrade, running on c16 or e85 or next day on 91 pump(beauty of a standalone). on c16 we are going to push more than 550 crank hp and e85 will break the 600 crank hp. Unlike EVO, we are not focusing on only one sled, but on the complete snowmobile industry, developing ECU for the masses.
With our hardware partners , we already have a compressor upgrade with replacement injectors pushing more than 325 safe hp (yes with a simple compressor upgrade)for less than 2950$ and this setup is realy flexible and can be run from 177 hp-325 + hp. Don't forget our new ECU has a built in ,much stronger CDI so we are running stock gap on spark plugs at high boost where others are down gaping and loosing those few torque/hp numbers making the difference and if they are not gaping down well......!!
let's compare: So a big chute 275 kit with head studs at 2800$ vs a standalone ECU/compressors upgrade/injectors/studs at 2950$ capable of running more than 325 + hp, but can be driven at 300 or 290 or 275 or 215 , it is endless flexible, plus, if you have to go to the dealer for warranty(and we all know you will go back!!!) it takes 10 minutes to swap vs sending back the ECU to reflasher, turnaround, oem turbo swap, all that will take weeks if not months......both solution have their plus and minus.
i am not bashing the product here, just pointing out what you get from the reflashers vs us.
a good reflash is a solution for many guys and it has it's place in the industry, same for a pre-programmed ECU, it is not adressed to the same crowd but it has it's place.
after all that, the ECU is yours for the rest of your life and can be fitted on any electronic fuel injected 4 stroke machine, and that is a big plus to me.

So I have that at $755 for the compressor upgrade and injectors. Is a higher volume fuel pump necessary? What size compressor are you upgrading to? Thanks for any info.

compressor upgrade is a custom clone gt28rs(480 cfm) and injectors are 820 cc, fuel pressure regulator and lower operation FP, no need for a fuel pump upgrade(up to 325 hp).

And what you get from us is multiple turbo and ECU packages (no tuning required) with 1.5 years on the snow in the mountains that have also been dyno tested and proven at high elevation - from a company who's owners have been die hard mountain riders for over 20 years.

Our tuning is second to none.

Yes we did focus primarily on one sled for the last two years and have developed products through riding and testing to make it the best mountain sled it can be.

Next years product releases will be for more than just one sled...
