Thinking of riding somewhere tomorrow but when I rode the south snowies couple weeks ago it was crap!! Doesn't seem like anywhere has gotten much snow since, it was just crusty and crappy. Anyone have any good news? Tomorrow might be my only day to ride in March...
Thanks!

Wouldn't day I planned to ride, had other things that fell through and thought about it but didn't get any fair condition reports til it was "too late" translation: wife was very sick and asked nicely if I could do some things around the house for my upcoming week! I have about 6 buddies coming in town to go skiing. Made her happy.

skiing?????

this thread just keeps getting worse.

HA! Skiing is still a fun sport to do with friends. Got a house up in silverthorne rented to party at for 3 nights, bunch of 30 year olds playing spring break, come on what doesn't sound awesome about that? Of course I'd rather all 10 of us riding sleds but none of them are into that and probably can't afford to rent. With my group of friends we'd have a ball just hanging out and getting crazy, don't even need to ski...
Wanna come dizzle?

Avy danger is super high. We knocked down a good size one and saw another very big one go off. On my way home I noticed avy's I've never seen before. Head up.

no fresh south of FT as of now.......freshies up north eh?...well then that's your ticket!

found a couple north faces today, otherwise all crustys...

Skiing!

Sledding is so much better to do with friends than wasting 60% of your day standing in line.

Today was ok. Snow was heavy in the sunny spots, found some good stuff on north facing slopes.

Saw Skibreeze and an older fellow, Treeline me thinks? Matt Entz joined the crew today and I must say, he can f*ckin ride. He dropped the big one in area 51. Stellar!

The T-XP rocked, just need to do some suspension adjustments and install more vents.

LMAO, an older fellow! Yes that was Big Tom Pittman! We had a great time even with the snow conditions. We rode up to the West side of the powerlines and then followed someones tracks down that steep bastard of a hill into the ravine. Didn't like being in that terrain trap at all. Then ran into 2 guys from Steamboat and rode to the tower and had lunch. Then went over to Soda mountain and then played on the way back.

Saw the FS guys sitting, waiting for somebody to cross into wilderness.

how did the turbos stack up against each other?

I need to do some suspension adjustments. But the other T-XP and Matt's TM8 were pretty even. I actually need to find a Challenger Extreme with a 3" pitch. The other T-XP had that track and was tearing it up, mine was just spinning, hence the adjustments. No big deal.
