Anyone shopping the 2011 6.7L Ford Super Duty?

I've seen that Super Snake around Boise 2-3 times I believe. First time was about a year after you were here during the hot summer nights cruise, which I think I told you about. Friggin Saaweeet!

Looks like he needs to update the license plate too...LOL!

ugly square fenders:face-icon-small-con,now your just being mean. You my friend have a severe case of CATARACTS. Hey did you get that compartment on the top of your rear fender to keep your purse? Because you could probably use your center console for it.:face-icon-small-win

Nope don't have the Ram Box or the console Real trucks have a bench seat not buckets:face-icon-small-coo

Was out car shopping for my Mom last weekend we were at the Ford Dealer and the sales guy was asking what I drove so I told him and sooner than later I was sitting in a 2011. But with the 60k price tag I will stick with my good ol 02 7.3..... Sales guy did say he would give top $$$ for my trade due to fact that he sells any 7.3 within a week once they hit the lot.

AND that is a very good thing to remember when you go in there to dicker with them. The 99-03 (or whenever they quit the 7.3) is the best selling used Ford truck there is. It's a sellers market for them.

I work at ford dealer

And we just got 5 Super Duty's in the other day and yes the fully loaded ones are around 60 but the XL, and the XLT's are only running 48.

Any of you driven one with this new 6.7? If so how did they compare to the 6.4 on power?

drove one last week power is awsome feels like a sports car Was getting 21 mpg When test driving and having my foot on the pedal hard alot of the time feeling the power .Was just looking to see how they ran But after driving one I got to have one :face-icon-small-sho Drive 08 6.4 now

Finally got to test drive one today. Power feels good, but nowhere near my 08 6.4 with Spartan tunes. Overall it is a very nice truck and I love the air conditioned seats. I'll be ordering one in the next few days!

REALLY YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A SPORTS CAR DRIVES LIKE
you didn't say how a truck drives like a truck
I was hoping you would answer the question so I could use your words to define it.

A truck that drives like a truck. Some torque, little hp. Stiff suspensions, bench seats, geared to not go over 70 mph. I guess for those that like the new trucks, it can be described as crappy. lol

You never driven an old truck?

I love the air conditioned seats.
Its the opposite of that... lol

Am I the only one?

Hahaha!
So in essence, any old Gen 1 Dodge or earlier, and 70's era Fords or Chevy's, and so on? I think that show's your age........and mine!
My wife complains every time I make her ride in my old Dodge........the seat has more suspension than the suspension does!lol

Specifically my old 79 Jeep J-20 full size one ton (maybe 3/4). That thing was awesome. Too bad it was a rust bucket though.

I don't know, I just see people comparing them to cars and expecting the same level of comfort and capability, then wonder why they cost twice as much as a car.

The new trucks are really nice, don't get me wrong. I would love to have one as well. It just seems the price of them is getting higher then the average house price in many parts of the country.
