One of hillarys campaign official people (not sure exact position) said something positive about hillary being a vice....guess the idea is on the table
Her camp is starting to say that because she is all but done.
It was kind of funny a while back when she talked about Obama becoming her vice. His reply: "Why would the guy that is leading the nomination accept an offer to be vice?"

I can see Edwards being the Vice.
Welfare
On the welfare issue, I have no problem with the concept of welfare, just the way the program is run. In MN we used to have a law that limited you to how long you could be on welfare for. Well apparently the liberals were none too happy with this because it was a law that discriminated against certain people. So some how they got a bill through that took away this limitation, now anyone that wants welfare can have it as long as they want.
What we need to do is take some money from the welfare fund (not any more from the taxpayers) and hire more people to manage these funds. Then place limitations, you can only be on welfare for X amount of time before you need to find employment. If you need welfare again you need to have worked for X amount of time since the last time you received aid. And finally, every time someone comes to receive a welfare check, they will first be given a drug test, the cost for this test will come out of their check. If they pass they get the check. If not, they have to wait and take another test, now the cost of both tests comes out of their check and so on.

That is the same impression I get.
I believe if Obama thinks Hillary is becoming a serious threat he will ask her to be his VP. I don't think either one of them on their own can win and if either one take J. Edwards they are doomed.
Obama has a LOT of baggage that hasn't really been explored yet. The dems are pretty much split down the middle on him and the conservatives can't stand the guy, should make for a real pain in the azz fall season with all the negative adds coming our way.
NO WAY Hillary will be Obama's Vice.
The only baggage that has been explored with Obama is lame propaganda.
Polls show that Obama will win an election against McCain.
I don't think the Conservatives are happy with McCain. I know I'm not.

Polls at this point mean nothing.
The media hasn't even looked very close at Obama.
A lot of the people they poll now (see what I mean about polls) that voted for Obama over Hillary say they would have voted the other way if they knew then what they know now about Obama.
Once the actual run for the Presidency starts, it is going to get UGLY and fast.
I personally am not a McCain fan, but I will take him over Obama any day of the week. The funny thing is, the libs will try to use the race card. If you don't vote for Obama it's because you are a racist type of BS.
So what do you know that is so special.
From what I have seen the media has done more research into him than anyone else.

The whole thing with his Spirtual advisor.
His desire to give away all our tax dollars to other countries.
His desire to do away with the Mexico and Canadian boarders and let people just come and go as they please.
His desire to pull our troops out of most of europe and cut the military to pay for his world social programs.
It is so bad even Hillary is saying the media is giving him a total pass.

I agree completely. and they've already started pulling the race card. The liberal talk radio idiots and even on Anderson 360 last night their making everyone in W. Virginia look like bigots. It's friggen rediculous.
Obama combined with a nearly guranteed Dem control in both houses of congress will guarantee a recession the likes of the Carter administration. I'm not saying Bush has been perfect but between the Media and the congress the majority of the country hates him and thinks he's a joke. The Republican party needs to distance themselves from that to win and unfortunately McCain is about the only way they can win right now. I'm not a fan of him either but he's better than living in a socialist, tax and spend, redistribution of wealth Obama or Hitlery country.

Then compare the 2 with the platform of the MODERN Democratic party and the Republican Party.
Then Read the constitution and see what aligns with what.
