Anybody seen this code ?? Appears to be a loss of communication code ? Dealer (8hrs away) said may be moisture in one of three connectors , main to the gauge , ECM, or a harness on the front of the motor (3 yellow wires) dry out and dielectric gel all of them. Not causing any run ability issues just catches my eye when it comes on , don't want to get used to ignoring codes . Any body dealt with this thanks !!!

Mine does it quite a bit on start-up and I've checked a few of the connectors but didn't find anything conclusive. Since it happens on start-up, I'm kind of wondering if it may be software concern where the ECU is expecting to see a communication signal from the IPC within a certain length of time.
Like your sled, everything seems to work, and it doesn't appear to be causing any issues. None the less, I wouldn't mind fixing it.

From Justin Scholl electrical engineer at Arctic Cat:

U0155 LCD Gauge Communication Lost. That's the time delay for gauge to see communication with the ECM and detect it's properly communicating

You will most likely see this upon first start up and also when changing from forward to reverse. The Gauge and the ECU don't see each other at exactly the same moment and triggers the code. Since it happens frequently and annoys people, perhaps they can program a delay or something. People don't like DTCs on the dash.

That's kind the way I was thinking nuisance software glitch more than anything , still gives you the oh szhat feeling for a split second when ya see it 25 miles into the backcountry!! At this point not even gonna mess with it maybe their will be a patch in the programing for it annnnnnnnd maybe not if cat goes the wayside time will tell . Thanks

Be careful with the dielectric, it can cause problems from being applied to the fittings when they are apart not allowing good contact when connecting back together.

A little is good if needed to seal :) otherwise it'll come back to haunt you.

I am thinking it is a software glitch not a connector issue didn't ride in any blower powder or much more than a foot so don't think moisture is an issue think I will just check all the connectors and plugs . I am with ya on the die-electric gel a little goes a mile , will probably skip the gel , I have a product called corrosion guard which actually keeps corrosion from forming on the connector pins and will make a secure connection thru corrosion if it is present by eliminating any corrosion on said pins , pretty sure their is no issues in that regard to new I would think ?
