Any word on building (BOOST) sleds?…

Any chance you could share jakes email address through PM?

You have to start on the Polaris website.
That opens a “case number” and they usually emailed me back within a day or two.

If you email to “owner connection” (they all use the same email address) they just direct you to the website.

Every order number is treated separately, regardless of email address, timing of order, etc. I do have two orders myself. Two separate email status updates, every time.

You all need to quit your bitching! You all sound like a high school cheerleader team fighting for the starting quarterback!

This is not Polaris's fault. Those of you pointing fingers need to get off your damn computer and go to work. Polaris did not put a gun to your head and make you snow check a sled.

Polaris limited the number of snow check turbo's because they saw the complications of supply chain/manufacturing with C-19.

Polaris cannot click their heels, waive a wand, sprinkle some ferry dust to build a sled; there are behind the scene actions that take place that are out of Polaris's control (its obvious majority of you don't understand this). For example: I had to wait 1.5 years for a sump pump that the Project Engineer and Project Manager ordered for a facilities project that I was a Construction Manager on. They ordered the pump from a manufacture in Brazil that closed shop when C-19 pandemic shut the globe down. Try building a $10M facility when 3/4 of your equipment/materials are on hold when Directors have mandated a ISD.

Schedules change/fluctuate, Polaris is trying their best to predict ship dates with what they are told from suppliers of parts they are waiting on.

There are worse things in life in the world we live in than so-n-so's snow check not showing up on time.

So they were supposed to shut down the factory this summer when they had parts enough to make some machines but not others?

Were they supposed to lay off all the workers?

There’s much more to the story than you acknowledge in that comment.

This right here.. I get it's a big ticket item, but at the end of the day, it's toy.. I've been waiting on a new work truck for months, with months left to go.. that makes me the money I need to buy these toys...
and it's worth waaayyyy more than any snow scooter lol. But I ain't burning down Ford's customer service line / email, it is what it is, it will get here when it gets here. As someone who works in the heavy parts industry, and sees alllll the delays,
there's not a lot to be done except wait your turn, promises made / kept, or not.

All your bitching about bitching is making me bitchy.
On a side note, we don't have any snow and i am under the gun to get a foundation in before Christmas. Fill it with concrete vs. Snow. I have never got an email and don't care. Dealer called and told me my wife's sled was in and he will do the same when the boosts show up.

This guys gets it

we had some mechanical equipment with 30 week lead times and pumps 50 weeks out. It’s the world we live in for the time being. I just feel fortunate that I have the ability to own and use a new sled

let it snow!!

The only positive about people the bitching about not getting sleds is that it taps down on the number of oil threads.

My dealer called today and said they got the back ordered EGT sensor in yesterday for my Boost. Still haven’t received an email saying the sled has shipped and it’s been at the dealer for a week waiting on the sensor.

We have some suppliers telling us:
“You can use this price for bidding and you secure the product for you”
“But when the product arrives in 9-16 months you will have to pay the going rate”

It’s really the only way they can stay in business.

Then many things are discontinued before the delivery ever happens so you have to order substitutions.

No way around it.

Guy posted video on Dootalk of his email from Polaris telling him his snow checked sled will not be shipped by Dec. 15 after all. They told him February instead.
