Any Truck Drivers on here?

yeh real party ..leave Edmonton in the rain and show up home at -50 kinda stiff don't cha know ..

saw a lot of those drop axles on trucks at the KW factory in Renton when I went to pick up the last new one, how much more weight do they allow? kinda cool, we don't have any here like that, all the body jobs are tri drives now

With twin drops I can go up to 65,000 on just the truck. With the single drop 56000 is max. Tare weight is 26,000 truck and truck transfer setup 4 Axel is 40,000 combined

Also don't feel bad on the misload I did the same thing on a tilt deck last winter Iced up deck with no traction at all I had to use the boom and hook my teath on the edge of the trailer to drag me up the deck once on top it slid and away I whent about **** myself but I somehow saved it trailer is 2 1/2ft off the ground.

H2 what can you guys Gross with those Super B setups??

my last load of gyprock was 89,000 lbs we are allowed 90,000 in the yukon on an 8 axle config

PS don't wanna pick up too much snow ...............

cool, thanks for the info JW.

on the julio part, ain't no worse feeling sitting in something like that when things are out of control. haven't rolled or wrecked a truck yet (knock on wood), but lost a load once in a backshot on an icy hill (with both axles chained up....was a helluva hill) and rolled a skidder off the deck while loading.

we do a lot of off road winter work, makes things interesting. especially in the hills where a D-8 has to pull you up, as well as anchor you down. sometimes even a D-8 and a big bed......
