Buddy you ever need yamaha tripple parts or questions give me a call. I have had a few of them. Great sled just a little on the heavier side.

Not only that...a piped triple sounds WICKED!

Good point what area you thinking? I wouldnt mind hitting up Island Park its not too hard but fun for all levels.

I'm not very familiar with the areas down there so I'm not sure on where to head. I've heard good things about island park and McCall both. Plus good rides are more about the people than the terrain...and anyone who wants to challenge themselves always find a way:beer;

Triple parts

Do you have a set of triple pipes for a MM700? And list me a few other parts that you have.

Oh by the way, Air Force here stationed at Gowen Field, ID. Was active duty for 13years and joined the Guard to get out of all the political non-sence.

So I think I am going to trade that guy for the 02 700 Viper. It seems like a good deal since it only has 1500 miles on it and a new track to boot. SO what parts do you sugest? Thanks Jeff

Put tripple pipes on it and lighten it up a bit and you will have a fun sled. I still ride my dads old Mountain Max 700 time to time just for the feel of a yamaha. Are you still wanting to do a military ride?

Hell yeah I will do a military ride. With in a 3 state area. lol Just name the place. even If I have to put tracks on my polaris 4 wheel drive lol. I love the snow.

Well took a look at that 700 SXViper today. SO, here's it is. 1600 miles, Original track has a couple of lugs that are missing, you can see the threads on the egde here an there. So, the Viper has a 121" track stock, The dealer took it and put a 144" track on it. Also, they took the front end off the mountain max cause it is 3" narrow for boondocking (guess the guy got stuck between two tree's once so he had them change out the front end on it.) Looks good. A little TLC and a major cleaning. Pice 3500. Whoaa... There are a couple on here and only one gets into 3k area. I dunno what to tell the guy. I hate hagleing. He's thinks it's worth this you think it's worth that yada yada yada.

He has a Mountain Max Lite 500 as well. It has 756 miles on it. 2800.00 I admit I am out of my element on sleds. Just don't know what stuff it worth. Atv's, Bikes. cars, Shiftercarts, I know what they cost. lol Just not sleds.

PM Colorado Yamaha.... He has a 2003 Viper, that we built with a 151'' cammo track, a few mods, exhaust, clutched and ready to tear up the mountains. Its clean and a sweet sled for a 2 stroke.

Its been sitting in the garage at the cabin for 3 years. Maybe ridden 2-4 times in that time. He's going to sell it, but hasn't posted it. Be the first and steal a nice clean Viper.

Tell him I told you to contact him. or you can call me 719-287-5638. I won't post his number here.

I'm also down with a military ride, anywhere as long as it don't conflict with Revelstoke trip this season.

Count me in for about 4-8 of us.

Craig

Well the guy with the other viper came down some and made me a good offer on the 500 mountain lite that he has. So we will see what happens. thanks Jeff

Good Luck. Did Derek send you pics? I know he was going to re-check NADA and give his final price.

A 500 will not satisfy you longer than a few days. A 144'' track also is not a great mountain sled.

If you're going to keep looking you should find a true mountain sled. Min 151'' and look for a great track, and at least pipes.

Don't forget Ski's....Stock ones suck.

Pipes and track will run ya $1400.00. $400.00 for a set of ski's. Shop smart and don't settle. TRhere are a lot of sleds for sale.

So you figured out where the MILITARY RIDE is going to be at? Maybe we can make it an over nighter? Ya know like drop the sleds off somewhere then have a few people set with them. Take the trucks trailers My car lol, up the road and do it that way. Stop off over night somewhere on the way to the vehicle? think about it

The last we talked about was either McCall or Island park.

One ride I've always wanted to do up in North Idaho is kind of a tricky one. You start in pack river (north of sandpoint) and boondock over the mountain and down the other side to priest lake, stay the night and ride back the next day.

No matter where we end up going I'm sure my family and I will be staying the weekend.

You know senor..... this was a great idea...... I think you know I retired but 22 years total mixed services and you know the rest.... I think a get together at Puyallup or something for the snow show would be awesome..... Great job buddie!! Hope to see you again soon....

Ok so the place is kinda narrowed down RIGHT? It is between three places I think.....
OK and what about the date? When do you guys want to get together? I am pretty much open. I still think we should go for an over nighter. Drop the vehicles off somewhere and take the ride to them. But, if you guys want to make it just a short ride then thats fine too. Anyway thats about it.

Update:::I traded for the 02 Yamaha Viper and the 03 Mountain Lite 500. they look to be in good shape. There are a few things that I need to fix but not much. well talk to ya later.

Greetings fellow warriors!

9 years AD, 3 years Gard (Go Gard! - I know its misspelled) so far. Soon as I went to a part-time guy moved straight back to CO! Wife rides also (somewhat - she's not the aggressive type).

Just moved to Denver this summer - spent last winter in heaven living high above Aspen. Walk out the door to sled. Gonna miss that.

I'll be looking to do some riding this winter though. I need to use all my guard days up early in Oct and Nov before the snow flies so I can just claim I'm out of days and can't head down to ABQ.

Heading up to the Boise show - anyone else going?

Praying for snow

Hey when is the show? And are you staying over night? I thought about going but not sure if I can get off work. I should look online for haydays. So skip the date on the show when are you planning on going? thanks Jeff

First off Thank ALL of you still keeping us free!

I was never fortunate enough to be stationed any place with snow. 10 years at Bragg 90% of the time deployed. I would always take leave during December to go home and ride. So if you lucky bastards can ride and be in the service Pawns to you!!

By the way LEGGS SUCK!!:beer;:beer;

Well unfortunately I am disabled as of 1998. My ankles took the most of it. Just can't feel them. But it pays off when I stump my toe. lol or drop a hammer. But I still try to ride everything in site. Well I stay off mopeds... ?

10 years active and 8 guard. I would love to joins you guys for a military ride but currently in an area that doesn't get much snow! If you all get together to ride for a couple days have a few :beer;:beer;:beer; for me. After your done riding of course!

Thank you everyone here for serving this great nation of ours.
