Who ever says that you can't ride a snowmobile in TUCSON, AZ has obviously never been there in the winter. Trust me your get to ride. May not be the ideal conditions but better then setting on the couch. Just so you know the place you can ride is called Mount Lemon. You can also snow ski. I went to high school in Tucson lived at the bottom of Mnt Lemon.

Also I live in Berthoud, (loveland) Colorado . Disabled Air Force Vet. Just now getting back into riding. SO if anyone wants to go let me know. thanks

to hell with it im down when we going tonight? I am craving snow and I want to put together a military ride (military guys active reserve and retired ride) who is in for this?

I like riding anytime. To be honest. I am sure that if the area to be ridden was inticing that some film crew might come along. There a few that send out people to film riders.

I thought about making a trail riding video a few days ago wondering how it would go over. Film local people sell it in state of all the different ride area and what they have that others don't. If there was one on the market I would buy it. For the simple fact that you would be able to see what the area is like BEFORE you decide to drive 2 hours to ride it. But that is just me.

Alert the film crew:face-icon-small-win

Tell us more about the sweeeet Sledding on Mt Lemmon:D

j/k I've been there, much better than Hawaii for sledders

Anyone know anyone with film experience? I think I can lay hands on a filming camera. I think I can rent one. Then just send the footage in to one of the major X sport filming groups.

thats funny. Well had a guy contact me on my 660 Raptor. He wants to trade me his two sleds. For it. Let me know if this is a good deal or not. He has A:
2001 XCR 800 151" With out a track.(SO that is 500) to put into it right off the bat.
1999 RMK 700 punched out to 840.

My quad is valued at 4000.00 from Yamaha of Fort Collins. So would this be a good deal? I asked him today if he would go in half on a new track. He said that he was going to ask me for 500 since he would be getting one machine and I would be getting two. He is 20 years old. Just so you know.
Let's here is good or bad deal. What would I or he have to do to make it good? thanks Jeff

HAHAHA thats a bad deal. My question is why the track off it? u dont take a track off a good sled and not replace it unless your dumb and dont take of your stuff second off a 98 rmk punched out? I remember those burned up alot when they were modified he is tryn to steel your quad. Tell him buy a mountain track for it and extensions thats my 2cents but then again I got told by my x wife im a @$$hole because im blunt dont listen to me. I just been buying and trading stuff my whole life right?

Would you guys be interested in a ride in McCall in Feb or March? I think when I'm home on leave before I head to the sandbox my family is going to head down there for a weekend.

I know the 509 guys and the 208 productions crew do some filming there too.

That time frame works for me, I was planning on being home late Feb-early march. looks like Feb 20-21 or 27-28 are the weekend choices to get the most people. personally I vote for 27th-28th since I have to install a turbo when I get up there.

I think 20 people would be doable, I will probably have 4 or 5 people that come with me.

The other consideration is the skill level of the riders...we want a fun ride, but also dont want to be putting along a trail all day. So we might pick a trail that has easy access to some good hills and boondockin.

Good point what area you thinking? I wouldnt mind hitting up Island Park its not too hard but fun for all levels.

Yeah I told that guy to take a hike. With the two sleds. But oh well. A guy called me today with a 02 700 Viper Stock with 1500 miles. Might go and look at it. I like the look of the vipers Plus the yamaha triples are not bad as far as I hear.
