Any news of the M1100T Vertical Steering Kit?

I had heard early winter, although the last person who talked to someone at Arctic Cat had heard Janurary or maybe next year. They had some sort of bearing issue on the post, which prevented them from making it available earlier. I'm not sure if the last person to have talked to someone at Arctic Cat talked to someone who was more or less out of the loop than the person I talked to.

I had talked to someone at the 50th celebration who was in the engineering department. The person who heard late Janurary or maybe next year had talked to someone at Hay Days.

any more news on the veritcal steering post? Its been a couple weeks and i was just curious if it will be out by january or not. This going to be a recall for the people who want it?

I think now people are just hoping to see the sled with any kind of steering on it lol.

Andit won't be a recall.

I was told by a cat rep at the snow show in WA, this past weekend that the vertical steering post for the 1100t has been produced and we should start to see it shortly after the sleds are in our possession! I made sure and asked him about this probably 20 times because this was one of my biggest concerns about the 1100t even though we haven't rode them yet and you shouldn't always believe what you hear, bit he made it loud and clear that it will be available soon for these things and he was 100% positive of it. So if it don't happen believe me I will hunt down this guy for making me so happy to hear these words come out of his mouth!!! :)

after seeing the chassis I doubt they will have one.

Bout time for a new tire on the RM, i recommend the michelin starcross 2 stiff durometer! Baaad boy tire!

Okay back on track, good to hear although my high countrys coming with the vert :)

cant leave the vertical steering discussion alone!

gotta get this back into the flow!
I can see me simply not enjoying my 1100t until that vertical post is avaliable!
probably ride the M8t until I get that steering kit!

anyone heard anything yet?

Talked to our dealer rep yesterday. He hasn't heard anything other than 'it's in development'. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. The sled is fun as heii without it, although it would seriously improve rideability if it had it. I think the vett. Post will be a lot more benefit than the narrow stance. The 1100t is surprisingly easy to pull over, keep over and side hill.

I don't mind the M1100 steering. It takes about 20 minutes to get used to it and your off. Like Madmax said it is easy to pull over. I rolled my bar riser forward about 2 inches and it seems fine. I will tell you one thing, the horizontal posts are much tighter than the vertical. The vert seems to have too much slop.
