I'm trying to get rid of the red theme on a 2011 Pro. Does anyone know of an alternative seat cover that is relatively inexpensive. I looked at the Stomp grip, would like to spend less

Wow for the price of one of those you can recover the entire seat at your local upholstery store. I am getting my Pro seat color changed at http://www.rmproducts.info/

They are going to replace the Red to orange. Might cost $100 or so maybe a few more bucks. Not sure yet on final price as they have not done it yet but the red has to go. I had them fix a seat that got a hole in it a while back and they did an excellent job.

Yes I am going all black also ,,so kept the all black seat from my dragon,the foam is alittle more firm which I like, my pro seat developed a *** pocket and I felt like I had further to rise to stand up,It fits and bolts right up!

Didn't even think of that. I have an 09 800 that is going down the road.

For those that don't want to spend much. This worked for me. Actually this isn't the same stuff I used but you get the idea.

Dye Spray

The trick with the spray is to wipe down with mineral spirits seconds before spraying. The spirits open the vinyl pours to allow the dye in.

That's a good one. You only want to spray the red too, so I taped off everything else. The only problem I came across was that the black dye will not stick to the white 'Polaris' writing on the sides. It does at first but comes off quickly when rubbing against your leg (I didn't get any dye on my pants though).

What about the stock RMK seat? It's all black. Isn't it the same seat apart from the cover?
