that "secret" spot is a drainage know as Prater Canyon. It lies directly behind the Star Valley Ranch about 15 min from down town Alpine. The snow was amazing there for not snowing much the past 3 weeks or more. bring a case of beer and ill show you the spot...:face-icon-small-win

Sorry been busy with rentals. Probably picked up 8-10" here in the valley the last 4 to 5 days. Mountains have been getting hammered. A fair bit of wind with these storms so reports can vary a bit with location, from 1-3 feet. Talked to a group that rode Willow creek Monday. Said it was possibly the deepest snow they have ridin in. Snow to the handlebars.

I appreciate the update! Will you try to update Thursday night/Friday morning. Im debating on coming up there or stayin in utah.

Snowpack is great. Most trailheads like in the Greys are down low so your looking at about 2-3 feet starting off in the valley. But once you climb to about 7-8 thousand feet you get into 5-6' and 9 thousand plus upwards of 6'-7'. Watch out for avy's as the suns been out since saturday and theres a good 3 feet of fresh snow up top, temps are right around 30 right now.

Another 7" wet inches here in the vallet since yesterday and a few more inches the day before. Has to be deep up top.

Was snowy all weekend, Just stayed in the trees and boonbocked all day. Didnt ride sunday but rode all day saturday. This was near the top of Squaw. great snow up to your waist in the trees.

Had some more small storms move through. About 1-2 feet of powder up high. Temps are fairly warm so you have to get to about 9,500 feet to find the fresh stuff otherwise its mostly spring conditions down low. Had a blast on the new Pro!

No boost, 100% stock just a sled wrap. This is one of Dan Adam's sleds that i am buying from him. He has a Pro with a SLP pipe, can, head, and a Power Commander and says it has all the power a pump gasser does and no lag and about a 1/3 the price. Thats probably the route i'll go. Sled is so impressive stock i would hate to screw with it much. Just sold my 700 CFI turbo was a fun sled but only ran good half the time and was so expensive to maintain and ride. `

We have got about 2 feet of fresh powder up top just on Squaw mountain this weekend alone. looks like Jannuary ridding the end of March first of April hard to beat!
