Alpine, Wyoming Snow Conditions "Rockin M Ranch"

It was jay MentAberry. I was riding with him Friday and Saturday came home Saturday night. He landed on a rock and broke his leg. Compound fracture. Word from phil from 208 productions last night that jay is in stable condition waiting for surgery in Jackson. I would assume his surgery would be this morning if it wasn't during the night. Pray for the best that kid is a great rider. Sad to see this happen to a friend.
Chris

Yeah they couldnt land a chopper in the area so they had to haul him out by sleds. Needless to say it was a long night for all of them. Friend of mine broke his leg up there last season but conditions must have been different yesterday cause we life flighted him out from the same area.....

A couple more wet inches last night. Appears from Snotel about 6-8" in the mountains. Local weather is claiming the possibility of 1-2 feet over the course if the next five days. I will check in a few days to let you know if it happened.

Well my dad a the group from MN should be there with a day of riding under there belt. Sounds like they hit the snow right for a change. Sure wish I could be there with em. Don't be afraid to give em some chit.....

The storm was warm. Rain snow mix in the Valley. Wet heavy snow in the mountains. Another cooler storm predicted tonight. Hopefully we can freshen things up a bit. The reports aren't horrible but crusty at some elevations.

About 8+" inches here at the cabins overnight. Should freshen things up since the warm weather of the last few days. More in the forecast for the weekend.

Good to see that Alpine is getting some more snow before us WI folks head out there next week...but figured with the warmer weather and some fresh new snow that avy danger would be high...thanks for all the posts guys!

Anywhere from 3-5" new in the valley and around 6-10" fresh up top in the Greys River range. Small storm came through sunday night into monday. Still great pockets of fluff up high here is a few pics from ridding saturday...and yes its up notellum creek :face-icon-small-sho
