a few videos of the aerocharger in the steep and deep

running clicker 4, and hope to be lower when boost is turned up, yes that day we came in from bolder, the day before we came in from eagles pass parking lot

"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

23 grams in crazy. Take some out and put in a higher finish rate primary spring. "

if i put in a higher finish rate it would rev more after removing pin weight... you mean a solfter finish rate after removing pin weight...

for now its good, once we are at another five more lbs boost, it could need a complete change

What clicker are you on with the 23 grams? Did you come into Turtle from the Eagle's side or Revy side. I could see the fingers off the lake at Turtle in your vids.

I'm running a ptek turbo but was only running 20 grams so I'll give 23 a try and hopefully settle out at clicker 3 on 10lbs. Pretty sure I saw you at Eagles on waterfall lake with the Mickus. My buddy was driving a black cat and had his hood up while you guys were doing some tuning.

Idk, I have always thought that you add a stiffer spring in place of weight. Works on the ported/piped Trygstad. I have found that the less pin weight the better in the R based motors. For instance I run a 130-350 spring with 3 grams of pin weight.

Fred's right, think of it this way. Does it take more force or less force to compress a stiffer spring? It will take more force as in more weight or more rpm.

on my 880 i run a 130/230 spring with 20.5 pin weight on 413 ramps, this gives a lower engagment with a more weight pushing on the belt compared to a stock 160/320

now for the etec from what i remember the primary spring is 180/350 giving a higher engagment plus less force on the belt after initial engagment, allowing the motor to pull revs quicker to help spool, with a 415 ramp and 23 pin weight to grab the belt harder after spool

still might try the 200/350 spring for a slightly higher engagment, its now at 3800 if i remember corectly

as for the cat at turtle, i did see it once, i was told it ran one of the climbs and got launched of a rock, sled flew like 20 feet up the hill( was that you guys) i just happen to be tighting a plug at the time and missed it

Nope, wasn't him. I climbed one of the finger chutes off the lake at turtle and drove over a rock at the top of it but didn't launch anywhere.
