9-11M or 12 Pc

I rode a 13 with the small fuel tank like the 12 and the fuel pump sounded like it was sucking air when going down steep hills.
If i remember right, the 12 and 13 had problems picking up fuel when the tank was low.

I don't remember everything but i know the seat, rear heat exchange, suspension hardware, i think the spindles?, not sure if fuel tank is lighter but it holds more fuel.

yup shorter heat exchanger, smaller mounting hard ware the new tank is lighter and holds more fuel, seat is lighter spindles are lighter im sure there was more

Ok got the new sled narrowed down to 3. All 3 are 2012 M8's sno pros, just having a hard time deciding which one to get.

!st is a Limited Edition 153 track, all black, 1000 miles, new 2013 crate motor installed by dealer at 650 miles. 1 owner who is 75. All updates done and all paper work for all work done since new. Has electric start, c&a skis, tunnel and goggle bags, upgraded front bumper, cover, powder coated tunnel and rails. 3 hours away. $6k

2nd is a sno pro 153, orange and black, 460 miles. Has handle bar, tunnel and goggle bags. Comes with short and low Rasmussen seat. 1 owner, but the lady got it in a divorce and knows nothing about what has and hasn't been done. 6 hours away. $6k

3rd is a sno pro 162 orange black, 1600 miles. Goggle and handle bar bags, 15 spindles. 2nd owner, not sure of updates. 6 hours away. $5,500

Like the new motor and love the electric start on the first sled. Like the records and the one older owner. Don't like the all black, but I guess that's what wraps are for

Love the orange and black on the 2nd, miles are awesome! Not liking the fact she got it in a divorce and knows nothing about it. Was talking to her boyfriend and he has two Pro's but couldn't or wouldn't answer any of my questions about it. Says she has rode it twice with him but that's about all I got. Also don't like the low seat and they don't have the stock one for it.

Love the color of the 3rd, what can I say I'm an orange guy. For some reason liking the 162 track even though my last 3 have been in the 150's. Like that it's $500 cheaper. Miles are highest and how could you not ask on one of these sleds if the updates have been done?

So which of the 3 would you buy. Every couple of hours I change my mind. #1 is closest and is set up so well, but what about #2 with the low miles, but #1 has got less on the engine with electric start, but #3 is cheaper and has the 162. Gotta love 1st world problems

I say #1.
Not to be a downer, there is an issue with the starter gear, make sure it has the newer part.

If the Black one had a powder coated tunnel that's a big deal on those, the non coated used up really really bad

Yesterday I was thinking 2, the day before 3, today has been all 1. Seems it has more pro's than con's, have to decide soon, need a sled for this weekend!

The owner said they came powder coated from the factory so I called a dealer and they told me the same thing. I thought all factory stuff was just painted but searched online and couldn't find any info??? From the photo's I got I couldn't see a chip in it but with just 1k miles if it's been well taken care of and mostly trail ridden it might not even if it was paint. Anyone know for sure?

Now question get the all black limited. You can always put orange hood panels and side panels off the other sled. The coated tunnel makes a difference.

Number 2. I had a Rasmussen seat on my '12 and at first I did not think I would like it, but it was the best improvement I did on that sled. My buddy bought it from me when I got my '14 and absolutely loves the seat.

Headed up in the morning to pick up which one I decided on. Wonder which one it will be;)

Well I went with 1, this thing is spotless clean, not a chip, scuff or mark. I've bought new sleds that weren't this nice. How do you put 1000 miles on a Mt sled and not even put a branch scuff on it. I guess you stay on the trails. Had a can and a couple of other things that he didn't mention, even got to ride it for a few hours before I forked over the cash. I must have bought this in the bizaro world;)

Ron I'm sure you don't want to turn around and spend $600 on the new 2016 36in front end but it is so worth it. Had mine at hoodoo Monday and couldn't believe how much better it handled and side hilled.

The ski's are C&A powder pro's, it has the stock arms. Not sure who makes the bumper, but it sure is nice to have. Big bags rock!

I would LOVE to have a narrow front end, but I think all Santa is getting me this year is the sled:) What all comes in the kit? You never know...

FYI it's quite a bit more than $600 to upgrade to the 36" a arms on a 12, you need new shocks or have your old ones shortened. I've got 1 ride in on my 12 this year with the cat 36" a arms and new spindles and a set of float 3 evols. It completely changes the sled, we'll worth it.

Nice find! Looks like a super clean sled. I think you made the right choice going with the newer chassis. If your grandson falls in love with the sport, he will have a solid sled to learn on for the next few years.

I was doing some reading on the 36 kits, guess its buy some 13-15 shocks and have them redone or maybe find a set of 16 take offs and then buy the kit. Or you could just spend the $$$$$ and buy new ones. If this season turns out good I just maybe in the market. Didn't know you could have the 12's shortened, anyone know of a place and a price to have this done? Anyone tried running the shocks on lower pressure to make it roll easier?
