880 Big Bore numbers?

Ride

That would be fun. I am sure some one would kick my a$$ but just talking setups clutching ect could really help me out. I just want to get all I can from my sled. I agree apples to apples will never happen but who cares it just a snowmobile and just money. When we die is it going to say here lies John Doe he had the fastest sled on snowwest and weighed 190 lbs 45 pounds of that c0ck? If your double cool it might. I know a couple guys in this convo are really good dudes on both sides. I just think the key board allows people to take alot of stuff out of context. I for one am hopeful these motors are close ( I have a trigger not saying its better or worse) but if they both run close I would guess each builder will push the limits. HP rating seem close so who knows. I am sure each set up with differ and each motor has a different philosophy behind it so I would assume an 880 vs 872 set up will differ significantly. Hell I am just greatful that I can kinda afford to drop 3 g into and engine and ride most weekends. Most of you should be to!! My two cents I am in for a carpool to canada if some candian folk is riddin.

Hey nuttyn1....you should come this year and bring ALL your sleds !!!

lol Shawn. I am actually down to 1 sled! Although my neighbor now has one of the 880's and it is actually set up very comparable to your 872! I would love to get together this winter! Keep in touch.

For sure bud......dare I ask which sled you kept......tell me you didn't part with the T-xp !!!

Remember my buddy...islandoo (Neil)...who had one of the original Halverson turbos like me? Well I gave up on my project and he finally has his running !!! I cant wait to try it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure can... Might be a turbo xm there for you to play with.... Lol! Got any miles on the new one?

Oh fun! Ill see what I can do! No miles yet...sittin in saratoga right now gonna hit the sierra madres today and see what we can tear up! Hows the snow down there in utah?

We need more... Went up today... for road ride. And jumped off on few hills we know are safe. Heading a bit south in the am.. Should be a bit better. 880 runs really really good... Can't wait for more snow.. Hit 63 mph today climbing. 860 is only good for 51 52. Should be a fun winter. Couldn't be happier! How many lbs you running this yr?

Still have a carbed T-xp in the crew but my personal sled is a aerocharged XM with TKI belt drive and 3" challenger :tape2:

We have 5 SHR 860's in our group. They all run flawless IMO and make great power. I HATE wrenching on sleds and with the SHR I have never had to... unless I need to do preventative maintenance. I would be happy to let anyone ride my sled, it's under the knife right now however will be in IP on the 27th of Dec.

Installing a bunch of parts from SHR on Friday.... here turbo, turbo :face-icon-small-coo
