858 Mountain Cat Shock Interference

Just makes a guy scratch his head..... and wonder what else was kicked out of the factory overlooked..
I didn't ever hear that the 600 last year had these issues-and same chassis- maybe the 858 have larger reservoirs 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
It's only an issue with the e-shocks. I do not believe those were offered on the 600. The scratcher is not a huge issue but pretty stupid at the same time. I have heard they were aware of the a arm issue right away but need to get the sleds out. That one is just a matter of the reservoir clocking being off, weather that is on AC or Fox we will probably never know.

But like you said, makes you scratch your head and wonder what else was overlooked. The joys of a first year sled.... :ROFLMAO:

On the scratcher issue it is easy to just leave the scratcher in the holder and bend it outward by hand to achieve clearance. We are setting a new one up today and will do it and take a photo.

Heard from the dealer today. The fix for this is going to be switching out the reservoir canisters for smaller diameter ones to provide clearance for the a-arm.
Not sure who your dealer is, but that is NOT correct. They will send out a hardware kit to change the spindle engagement point and provide more clearance to the reservoir.

This 2nd build Mountain Cat was not touching but gave her a little pull for clearance. Before and after photos
