800 CFI's... look at this, might be on to something

TTT Broke the sled in and I still have zero oil bubbles and even compression. We"ll see what happens when the snow actually falls

Any more research/conclusions Dave?

Has anyone tried taking that cheesy 25 cent filter off the oil line? I don't see why its needed and without it the bubbles in the main line would vibrate back to the oil tank that much quicker.

YES, I did. And it made no difference. On each of the IQ's I've worked on, (I've checked quite a few now to see if mine was just an anomoly) each of them as the sled sits level in my garage, the oil vent will not allow oil to flow out of the line (line removed from the oil pump completely) until I unscrewed the oil cap. Then the oil gushes like Capt Valdez.

Well you guys better keep your tools with ya when you go out rideing because iam sure at some point you are going to roll your sled correct??? Well how you going to get that air out when you roll it? How come the last time you rolled your sled you flipped it back on the skis fired it up and continued riding for the rest of the day. How long has oil injection been around and how long have people been rolling over there sleds why is this now an issue?? Just being a smartass lol.

I dont know about you guys but we have alot of ungroomed trails here and they are rougher then snot and when you are on your way back to the truck and are flying down the trail that is rough you got that oil bouncing around iam pretty sure your going to get air in then also?
