the shop that does my engine work is at 5k, the 600 puts out 120 hp corrected to sea level....the 800s do 142-143...putting av gas in one of the 800s brought it up to 148....the 600 engine seems bullet proof, we have never had a 600 come in for engine problems, but make lots of money on the 800s....out riding them, i like the 600 very much, but in the steeper stuff, they lose track speed...tight trees, they shine
