2025 Ski-Doo Rumors and Predictions

Some of you guys kill me, the doo gauge also has tracks, elevation, waypoints etc, it also has buddy tracking with a group ride in cell service. Learn to use it, but you don’t have one, so your opinion is invalid.
Next complaint will be the doo gauge sucks because it will not buddy track with the 7S when embedded maps integration with a GPS radio is available on the 10.25. Want a 7S? Buy a Polaris.

lol, nope, just look at what you post, its amusing.

How did guys get around on the mountain in the past is a deep mystery I spose. I don’t need cell service when I am in the backcountry, never did before, and don’t need it for the big gauge. The navigation works good.
I also know where cell service is on some of the mountains I ride on when I need to use my phone.
I also carry other satellite communication devices. The 10.25” gauge on my sled is a perfect addition to my gear I already carry, and I don’t need cell service to use the Go app to use the navigation on my gauge it work good.

I carry garmin in reach mini also.

and yea I downloaded the maps on the go app, so it doesn't "need" cell service for navigation, but I still have to plug my phone into the gauge which I cannot stand.

I don't want my phone plugged in to use a map, I want the gauge to have the maps and GPS chip standalone. ( and buddy tracking without my phone )

I want my phone only for making phone calls if I have service, nothing else.

I want that as well, but We don’t, so until then. We wait.

I could give a crap less if my phone has to be plugged in to use the app, it just so happens when I want to use my phone it’s warm and fully charged…..geez that sucks. It also sucks that I can look at my phone at the end of the day headed down the hill in the pickup and see where I had been and where I may want to go tomorrow.

yea that's fine, but it shouldn't be a requirement. Its not a requirement with Trail Tech/Polaris. or Garmin/Cat.

Its also not a requirement in my Ford truck to have to plug my phone in to do anything.

Being 3rd year of the G5 we might get a glimpse of the changes for the G6 chassis. Doo likes to give tidbits halfway through a chassis cycle.

Care to SPECULATE on what one of those HINTS might be??;)

I heard they are upgrading to a 3 piece driveshaft! ..............Na, just kidding, I know you are really looking for cell free buddy tracking. I hope it comes. Maybe SkiDoo can show Polaris how to hold a clutch on to the motor in exchange for the 7S display?
I do NOT think we are going to get Buddy Tracking that doesn't require cellular service just yet.. :(
But I DO think we are in for a major upgrade in the mapping system, and I HOPE that will be CELL PHONE FREE.
