At making an AFFORDABLE SNOWMOBILE to bring more people into the sport????This looks like a piss poor attempt.
No the evo rmk was a piss poor attempt, I feel like this thing hits the mark for the intended crowd. Lighter would have been better obviously but this should let a new/younger/intermediate rider learn some actual mountain skills. This looks like a piss poor attempt.
Ya i wonder if it will be possible to turn it into a full size 600. Because the price is pretty close to the backcountry 600 efi which puts out around 25 hp more. There must be a away to make it more powerful since you're still paying a somewhat high price for 55 hp.I have an Evo which I spent $1,500 in upgrades on. Great little sled but I really like the looks of this Neo. Too bad we never get demo days anymore - at least not around here anyway.
Evo - love the fact that it was upgradable - hate the carb - wish it was EFI
Maybe someone will figure out how to re-tune this de-tuned motor!
That does not make any money for BRP. BRP needs people to buy sleds every year for $8000-$22000 to make money. ZERO reason for them to make a sled that you can upgrade every year for next to nothing. The thing is that it is just a de-tuned 600 liquid.
So when the kid git's ready to upgrade, then what?
More better would be to offer a basic 600 Summit, and offer a de-tune parameter that can either be set via the adult, or the dealer, and have it adjustable from 40hp to 130hp.
Then you have a sled that will grow with the kids ability.
It's still a full size sled, but at least it will grow up for the same $.
For all the nah sayers, wake up, the thing is a wicked little sled...hope your not teaching your kids that piss poor atitude, its about creating fun for kids, this is that! Sold out anyways.
