2023 Ski-Doo Summit NEO

Oh and no, mine didn’t come with scratchers either. We rode fish lake trails with the families New Years weekend and there was a neo + with us and it never really got above 130, which was impressive, No scratchers. Meanwhile our slashes were scratching for snow off the trail and even the new G5 turbo was staying pretty cool, not all the time, but way more than the matryx.
Matryx throws snow right behind coolers. If my leg wasn't tore up i could have got off road. I had my buddy's pro boost and he was playing with my kaos boost.
Do ibex scratchers work? This was only day i had trouble.
Neo is funny. My polaris dealer thought it was heavy when we moved it over to put 9r in. All the weight is in the back. I was lifting front and its light.

Ibexx don’t cool matryx if its icy. Thinking about Ice Storm scratchers for the icy family ride days.

That’s funny, the Neo is very light feeling, especially compared to the evo. Evos a great sled too, just different.

On those snow flaps if you push inward in the center of it while holding the bottom with the other hand it will "pop" concave instead of convex towards you and helps a lot with unloading. Then pop it back after.

Thanks, Chadly said the same thing and it wouldn’t stay for me when off the sled. Once I get rivets, I’m sure it will?? My trucks high, ramps steep and worse case I’ll bungee cord it up or something when offloading. Or go faster?

Drove my daughter's neo in the trailer. Also drove my wife's 9r in trailer. Have yet to drive my lynx in the trailer. I see the neo didn't come with scratchers. Seems like a cool sled for a kid. Curious on power and whether you’ll eventually be able to bump them up.
Take it from me, put flap back on. My daughter cooked her venom. Didn't know any better. I was sitting with a hot boost and hurt leg and she kept running hers to truck. Couldn't get her stopped and i wasn't cooking a boost. Between 1 tree and motor cost me $2800.
Get on that 9r and report back ?

Well shoot I never even thought of needing scratchers for the Neo - I don't need them for the Evo (which I did cut a chunk of the snowflap off of) If we ever get a chance to ride the Neo I may shorten the snowflap - that thing is huge! And put a set of scratchers on I guess. We were up on Grand Mesa in Colorado for the last 5 days and we didn't even bother to take the Neo out of the trailer!! There is sooo much new snow up there right now! Good Lord, what a stuckfest! :) LOL! No problem cooling the Matryx this trip out! That side by side comparison with the Neo and the Evo will have to wait.
FYI , I catch alot of grief for it but I run Between the Lines Designs Duroflex cable ice scratchers on everything and I do not have overheating issues. I am lazy and leave them down pretty much 100% of the time. I assume we don't get the solid ice trails some of the rest of you get. On a really firm snowpacked trail they still throw up enough snow dust to keep things cooled off.

The Evo is air cooled, so you won’t need scratchers because there’s no coolers in the tunnel. Our snow here when the roads getting up to our zones gets insanely hard and I’m thinking about some different scratchers. I’ll check those ones out.

Might need them to keep hifax from being stuck to your rails.
Possibly. Pretty low lugs too, my brain make me think closer to snow is colder? I know 2 buddies that have 3 evos between them and no scratchers??‍♂️

Rode my daughter's neo today and that thing is an awesome kid sled
Even took it before i rode the 9r. It was 4 to 6 inches on a firmer layer that you could get through so i took it on a little sh!thole. I actually came out alive. Game warden were trying to check tags but couldn't follow me on there 800 polaris's. Perfect snow for it. Sidehills great. Decent power for a kid. No drawbacks for what it is Intended for. Pulled a line, in trees, that i have friends that won't try. Obviously just going straight acrossed in the trees. Finally went down on flats and game wardens caught up with me.
10 times better than her venom. Hopefully someone can flash these to 85 hp.

First ride on the Neo+ this weekend. Unfortunately the Evo was at the cabin and not available to compare side by side. My grandson loved the Neo. He was pulling it up one ski within minutes. He said it felt nice and light. We had about a foot or so of fresh over a good base. He never got stuck all day. Now we didn't do any serious riding since it was a big family day but he did get out in the trees a bit and had a good time. One thing though a big chunk of that snow flap has to go! It darn near touches the trail with a 100 lb rider on board. Sure hope Ski Doo has plans to be able to upgrade this motor.
