2018 SkiDoo Summit X "SNOWCHECKED" (Octane Blue & Manta Green) !

I don't think I can quite share in your enthusiasm on the new colour scheme for 18 Christopher. Although I'm a big fan of this blue the Manta green has got to go!! Lol. I would probably order the same one if they hadn't incorporated the green in the seat and bars, the decals and skis would be simple enough to change. I remember something my Grandmother use to say...."Blue and green should never be seen, except in the washing machine!". Aside from that I think Doo has nailed it for 2018 with the mechanical upgrades and SHOT.

I do feel bad for the 2017 G4 owners though, but one thing I've learned over the years is to never, ever buy the first model year of a new edition whether it's a sled, vehicle or even a cell phone. Companies can only do so much testing and still be able to maintain a certain amount of secrecy, the REAL world testing doesn't begin until the product is actually in the hands of the consumer, until they put me on the payroll I'm not about to be their R&D with my money.

Anyway I think they have a great product this year so I'll be dropping my cash on a Black/Yellow 165.

Cheers!!

It doesn't matter how many broken bulkheads there are. Could be 20 could be 100. Makes no difference.
The fact is bulkheads shouldn't break before there's A arm or spindle damage. The other three mfg's don't have this problem and all sleds get rode in the same conditions.
The video that Christopher posted of the rock hit isn't a hard hit and at most should have caused some light suspension damage.
It's easier to change the suspension parts then to spend thousands of dollars on labour changing a bulkhead.
I'm impressed that BRP stepped up and addressed this problem.
That speaks volumes to me!!!
