2018/19 Snowy Range Snow Conditions

Looking for someone to ride with on Thursday, February 21. Green Rock or Albany, doesn't really matter. Just don't want to ride solo.

Not able to go anymore, but looks like a good weekend is on tap. Ride safe everyone.

Pow-Shredder, thanks for getting ahold of me for a ride Sunday. What a great day. Hopefully the snow keeps coming.

I hadn't even looked at the forecast. I see the possibility of 1' to 2'. Hope you have conditions this weekend like we had last weekend.

My son and I are headed out this weekend as well. Plan to ride Friday - Sunday, heading home Monday. Hoping for some good snow! But...at this point, I'll anything that is better than this windblown flatland crap that we have here now! Lol

We've been riding since Sunday, snow is good, probably 8 to 12"s yesterday and snowing hard when we came down. Looks like alot of wind today, fortunately we're staying on the Saratoga side and shouldn't have to battle the east side.

Thanks for the update Dan, hope you guys are doing well. Looks like I might finally have an opp to ride with some guys in the Madres this weekend. Any idea how this storm is shaping up, Madres vs Snowies?

Looks like heavy snow on Friday for both Darren, looks like you'll hit it just right. If you go through 'toga stop by the bus, we're in the RV park on the north side of the river.

This past weekend was pretty epic. 2’-3’ of snow everywhere. Could have done without the wind Saturday morning, but it still was a great day.

If you can traverse the roads, Thursday looks to be epic! Bring on the blizzard conditions..... I can handle it!

Now the tricky part will be getting into town. We were going to leave SD tomorrow afternoon but I have a feeling the roads will all be closed.

Well, 32” up at Sand Lake on the Snotel site, and 15” at Med Bow. I’m sure the drifts will be crazy high too. Wish I was out there. But, I-80 is closed from Kearney all the way to Laramie basically.

Yeah our group was going to head out today & ride Snowies tomorrow then head to Rabbit Ears. Travel is on hold due to I-80. Traffic cams make it look like Antarctica.
