2015 GM HD trucks out in early 14?

Paid 52k for my 2012 Laramie limited ram. Highest option ram offers. I bet the Denali was nowhere near that.

Prices were much different in 2012 than today.

Values between a Laramie and Denali are different also, Dodges are always cheaper than a Ford or Chevy, including resale value.

I paid 56k for a loaded 13 Denali crew diesel.

I paid about the same for my '11 Denali Dmax crew cab. Has just about every option. Also 0% financing.

A "truly" loaded 3500HD Dually Denail will be tickling a sticker price of 80g's.

I think you are "truly" bad at math. Why would a dually be nearly $20k more than the non dually?

As I said, TRULY Loaded. Now a days a truck with power windows and AC is not loaded. You have NAV, driver alert vibrating seats, heated steering wheels, power pedals, AC seats,etc..... You start checking ALL the boxes to be FULLY Loaded and yea, you can get to $75-80k real quick.

The half ton LTZ I just bought stickered for $50k, and its not even closed to FULLY Loaded. Now power pedals or heated steering wheel. Its easy to hit $60k on a half ton.

How much $ over the LTZ is the High Country?
Me not a gm guy, but I like the High Country!

I was at the dealer about a month ago and they had a HC in the showroom with a sticker of $52k, But I don't think it was Fully loaded. It wasn't out when I bought mine or I woulda got that one.

All I know is I priced out the same truck Im driving which is a 2012 3/4 denali with most but not all options. The truck is 15 months old and cash to cash they want 20K more for this new truck....not gonna happen from this guy!!

20k???? wow lol! thats hard one to swallow huh? i have a 2012 dodge that i was thinking about doing the same thing as you were. i have 22k miles on it and i can get damn near what i paid for it, but the new ones, like you said, are THAT much more. it wouldnt be 20 grand more, but still enough to make me happy with what i have

I just priced out my 2012 GMC 2500HD SLT, the 2015 was about $4,000 more. Many of the options are priced almost identical as my custom build was. I do like that the stupid park assist is now an option, where in 2012 it was part of the SLT package. I hate that the rear assist thinks my receiver hitch is blocking my path every time I start my truck. Still no option for a steering stabilizer even though the bracket is factory installed and all GM HD's need it.

You are gonna see a lot more options on the 14 HD, that's why I say near $80k is gonna be viable.

15's are the current model, not 14's. All the packages and options are listed. Click on the build and price below and take a look for yourself. A 4 door long bed SLT 4X4 is $50,000 (same as a Chev LTZ), there is no way to add another $30,000 worth of options...just say'n.

yes, you are right. I meant to type 15's. But the price you list of $50k is BASE for an SLT, we are talking LOADED. The Dmax option alone is something like $8200. See for yourself.

I built a 15 Silverado 3500HD LTZ, which is always a bit less than a Denali, but I hit close to $70k.

BTW, I own a 2003 Duramax that's "close" to loaded, but not fully, that was $48,000. There is no way they only went up $2000 in 11 yrs.

EDIT>>>>>> I just built a 2500 Denali, NOT A 3500 DUALLY, and hit $69,300

Nope. I think Road and Track just did a write up and they said Fully Loaded Denali diesel will be around $65k

I expect to see a loaded 1-ton dually, Denali, 4x4 around the $68k mark. Prices increased about $2k-$3k from 2014.

Fully loaded = all options

It does not mean ALL accessories.

This is why I've special ordered two on my four new trucks (I keep my trucks a long time). Custom order and get exactly what options and accessories that I want, not what the dealer or mfgr wants you to buy. I have no need for Navigation, I have one road north and one road south. Sunroof, it's daylight for 20 hours a day in the summer and I like to keep my heat inside during our eight months of winter, so it's not needed. Not everyone "needs" a Denali, order what you want and what you can afford.

A Denali option is about $1200 more apples to apples. That $1200 buys you a wheel and trim package. Not bad.

I built the tuck to be LOADED, like I have been talking about the entire time.like I said LOADED now adays is more than power windows, NAV and AC.

Just got done building a FULLY loaded Dual Rear wheel 1 ton Duramax GMC Denali.

I used the GMC ordering tool for dealers, I put every OPTION on it. I did not put accessories on it (chrome fuel door, rubber bed mat, center console organizer, tool box.

MSRP:$66,930

Some notes:
Denali comes in 4 colors:
-Quicksilver
-Summit White
-Black Onyx
-Sonoma Red Metallic
-Iridium (love this color, it has gray and brown in it, new color)

Denali's come with the following standard
-Navigation
-Bose sound
-Chrome tubular side steps
-Heated and cooled front seats
-Heated Steering wheel
-Front and rear park assist
-Backup camera
-Driver alert package (lane departure warning, crash avoidance)
-Rear power sliding window (??? not positive, I didn't add it but it shows on the build)

I forgot to check the price difference in an SLT and Denali. I would imagine it is more than $1200 now since you get all of the above standard along with the Denali grill, more wood trim, more chrome on the outside, and front and rear color painted bumpers. If you add all the other stuff to an SLT it is probably not a huge difference.

Notable options added to get to this price
-Vehicle WiFi (add wifi to the entire vehicle able to broadcast to other devices) $595
-Duramax and Allison
-Dual 150 amp (each) Alternators $295
-Sunroof ($995)
-Spray in Bedliner from factory $475 (I wouldn't get this, pay to get it done locally for maybe $150 more and have a lifetime warranty instead of 3 year 36,000
-Rear entertainment DVD/Blue Ray player $1,495
-High idle switch $200 (all diesels will idle up for warm up, this allows you to keep the idle high when you choose)
-Trailer wiring provisions for camper/5th wheel $35
-Winter Cover $55
-All weather floor mats $160

Looking at it I forgot to add the snowplow prep package but unless you plan to plow, I wouldn't get it. ($445)
