2015/16 Big Horns N/S Snow conditions

Any updates? Any grooming or anything? Was planning on taking the wife and father on a site seeing tour after the 1st but thinking I should pull the pin on the whole idea?

Just go a little further west!! They are getting pounded in west Yellowstone!

Boy do the horns need some snow. I drove over the top yesterday on the south side. Trails didn't look groomed yet. Where we stopped and looked at baby wagon there was maybe 12 inches.

I'm going up on Sunday. Probably park at meadowlark or deer haven. Just doing a trail ride with wife and kids.

Didn't make it all The way to battle park. Parked at meadowlark and Rode P trail about 12 miles north from deer haven. Literally less than a foot almost everywhere. Trails are very thin, some spots the road showing through. I thought I would be able to get off trail a little bit to play but there needs to be another 2 foot at least before that's possible. Never seen it this bad at the end of December.

Oh and it was 30° up there today. Blue sky, no clouds or wind to speak of.

Snow on the trail was melting.

I agree with everything Snowmow said. Very thin we road a little higher in the canyon creek area. About a foot and that was it. Snow was pure sugar. Very sad for this time of year

That's crazy how little snow is up there at the end of December, know I know what the area looks like with no snow, Now I can actually say that southern Minnesota has more snow than the southern bighorns, going to pick up 8-12 inches tonight, it's a start

That's what I figured!! Knew it wasn't good but figured someone tooled around n found someplace to tear up.

Looks high country is decent?/according to the Facebook page
