Had another thought on the electrical components location. Mold a recess and nutserts into the front of the fuel tank with a port plate. All components wired to an electrical master plug or a component port plate. If they need service, unplug the master, pull the tank with all the electrical components in one easy to service location. Components would be free of vibration with cooler temp location. Minimize wire harness. Centralized weight.
We have a wire harness that now makes almost a full circle in the chassis. It starts out at the stator. Ties to the fuel rail that rubs, chaffs, shorts out, and breaks down the life blood of the entire system, power. It then goes under the oil tank to the front of the clutch guard to plug into an assortment of electrical components or another harness. That wire harness either goes to the coil/EVS/Regulator plate or back up the over-structure to other components. Why? This could be simplified.
