2014, WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE... PREDICTIONS... RUMORS.

i've seen it...no pics as they asked me not to take any..you'll like the style changes, cosmetic and functional both...little taller stance, appeared slightly narrower...looked like belly pan out of snow a bit more..liked the graphics...didn't see it running....no obvious changes to mechanics...cleaner dashboard and front cowl...overall good impression....

I would agree, refine, refine, refine!! to including the quick drive and drive shaft.

Hopefully more power!!!!!

Better shocks on the RMK or at least a snowcheck optional upgrade.

I'm also guessing maybe a 600 Assault???????

you cant honestly expect releases of new to sled technology every year

I would expect small refinements, especially to the drive line, more carbon fiber, and as some have posted changes to things like the dash, gage cluster, and body work

in the experience I've seen in my LE with powder coated parts as opposed to those with bare aluminum/ factory painted parts, I would hope to see some powder coating to rails, boards and suspension parts

Possibly some more options on HP, now that skidoos chassis has caught up somewhat, they will need to up HP to stay ahead and keep customers that came from doos

Sucks being a free member right now.. It's the time of the year for the first blurry pictures of the new model :face-icon-small-blu

Aaaand, we don't get to see much of testing and spypics here in Sweden :(

How about a couple of simple things. Cork under the bar heaters from the factory and a tether from the factory.

a 4 stroke turbo under 450 lbs in the pro chassis. /direct injection 800 option.

Here is an 11' assault chassis with a 750 weber turbo cut down to 121, sc5 rear skid, chromoly lower and aluminum upper a-arms.. A LOT of attention was paid to dropping weight everywhere possible.. Dry weight with straight pipe is 460 lbs.. I think a sub 450 lb fourstroke longtrack would be pretty difficult without getting crazy with composites.. Very quick and fun sled with the boost around 19 lbs on E0 premium.. Unfortunately it spends most it's life being dumbed down running flex fuel..

Also have another sled in skunkworks with a N/A polaris 4s in the pro-ride chassis that will be turboed before winter 14'.. I don't see the company actually coming out with a 4s any time soon though..

Here's what i'd like to see:

1. Slightly narrower bars. Too wide currently. Cork them internally please.
2. get rid of that stupid mechancial gas cap. Looks like my riding lawn mower from 1983. Use the gauge like everyone else.
3. Please fix the driveshaft for real. the clamp is embarrasing.
4. Update the QD w/ a real belt, machined pulleys, and allow gearing choices. 163" is geared too high.
5. FIX the motor - its down on power and its unreliable. Worst 800 available (as the other two are BAD ***) - on both fronts. There's got to be a better solution out there. It's time guys. The mapping is sweet - SUPER snappy, but it needs 10hp more and it should be as realiable as the Doo at least.
6. Fix the geometry of the rear skid - yes it works in pow great, but that doesn't have to be sacrificed by its reverse curve speed of shock travel. it bottoms WAY to easy, i'm 230lbs ready to ride w/ gear and even with the big boy spring and raptors i'm bottoming. I hate having to turn the clickers up this much - all the plushness is disappearing inorder to reduce bottoming due to geometry.
7. Make the LE more than colors. I would've paid more if it came with an E-coated tunnel and some updated parts - but $$$ for just new colors is lame. And what happened to snowchecks? We used to get cool stuff for promising to buy, now its better to wait and make a deal on an in stock item in the fall - pretty lame guys.
8. Keep refining this bad-*** sled. Electrics, controls, fit and finish, etc. Finish what you started - its a fantastic sled that still needs some finishing.

I keep reading how you guys dont like the fuel gas gauge on your pros, and want an electric gauge. I ride a 12 cat with the electric guage and would LOVE a simple Polaris Gas Gauge. With my Electric guage i have absolutely no idea how much fuel i have left most of the day it is horrible. BE CAREFUL What u wish for. I ride with Pros all the time, and their guage works Great. I might Buy a PRO next year and Vote to leave the Gauge alone, it just plain works.

Remember that electric gauge would only work with the sled running. I wish they would be able to make the neck on the tank so that the last gallon or so would go in with out feeding it one drop at a time.

I would like to see Polaris make a sled that will miss all objects under the snow or above:tongue:

Rode an Arctic Cat a few weeks ago and had no idea how much fuel I had most of the day. Those gauges are crap.
