2013 RK Tek 858 working extremely well

The 858 will outperform ths tock XM and the stock M8 (we own them as well and have compared)

Like stated by those that own one or have ridden one.. The 858 does not disappoint.. it is a very fun sled to ride and gets the job done...

More power to come with it for next season.. stay tuned!

Sorry but, a Pro with just the Rk Tek Drop in kit will out perform a stock E-TEC or Proclimb M8

RKT

I will put money on RKT drop in kit with slp pipe. Combos will high mark thr Doo, or the M8. Tell me when and where.

--I believe the 858 BB is a great option for Pro owners. If I had a Pro, I would seriously consider the kit. At the very least, I would do a drop in kit, head, and fuel controller.

--Maybe a better comparison would be an RKT 858 BB stock pipe to XM and M8 with RKT head kits and stock pipes.

Good morning,

Anymore feedback on the 858 kit???:

Consistency???

How many miles???

Anyone install a pipe after the fact(or any other mods.) & if so, what gains???

What fuel controllers???

Thanks in advance,

Glen

knifedge,

Are your statements shown below an answer to the questions shown above???

Or are they random statements, albeit unsolicited feeback, in amongst a discussion on how well the 858 kit is working???

Thanks,

Glen

--Engine probably runs as well as a stock XM or Proclimb

More feedback...................

I have 400 miles on my 2012 858 so far. I'm running a power commander, which has been a learning curve but is working well. I took a map TJ at Dynojet had given me, and adjusted it in the field using the Auto Tune function. Now I'm just fine tuning the mid range to get the throttle response the way I want. Right now at 2000 ft elevation, I'm pulling about 3.5 grams of weight over stock with my Dalton adjustables.

The motor runs very smooth and crisp, nice power bump for sure. I have Kelseys 12.5 domes in my cheater head, just because we do see some ****ty gas when we're riding the praires. For you keyboard racers out there, I handily beat a '11 Crossfire 800 in a drag race last weekend.

Just wondering if you have 13" cylinders for exchange or would i have to send mine?

Any more reports on this combo? What about running vipec on this combo? On hard pack xm will pull my pro but in 3ft of snow it's the other way.

Its pretty quiet about these, must be running good.
Kelsey, how many miles on your shop sled? What do you have up your sleeve for next year with this kit?

ttt anymore user results on this kit and how it compares to the drop in kit?

I have over 700 miles on my 858 and haven't had any issue with it. Just fill it up with gas and pull the rope. Beside Kelsey has been awesome to deal with and does not leave you hanging. Does it out pull the stock pro? Yes. It won't compete with the turbo but for 2000 bucks you are getting whole new top end and more power than the slp stage 4 kit, can't really go wrong with that.

The last sentence caught my attention. I was planning on going with the stage four next fall. so is this accurate? Does it really have more power than a stage four?

I personally think it feels more power than stage 4, engine runs a lot smoother, but that's just my opinion maybe someone can chime in on this? Nothing against slp product, slp has done a lot of r&d on their product with good results.

I think I read that you had added four grams of weight and were still turning more RPMs than stock, that's definatly a good increase in power.
