Hey guys, I've googled this but a lot of info on it was from years back and didn't really say a ton..... So that being said..... 2012 injectors in the 11, supposedly they do fit..... from what I read however whether they run is another thing, Can my dealer re-flash my 2011 for 2012 yellow? or???. I somehow thought that the 2012 was the same for the most part and thought 2013 onward had different injectors, but i was wrong there haha and now have some 2012's in my hands for my 2011... Also for anybody down the road reading on what injectors are in their 2011 with the updated "yellow, They are SIEMENS DEKA Fuel Injector 107962. Turns out I already have some spare's from my turbo kit.... ugh... wish I knew this a while ago, still these newer bosch look much better.

Let me know! thanks.

Nope. I got a set that was mispackaged for my ‘11 turbo. dealer claimed they reflashed it and still ran like dog sh!t. Chased my tail for months, put the whole sled back to stock, still wouldn’t run, took it to another dealer, 5 techs for 4 hours and one of em comes out with the injectors in hand and says “who ever sold you these f$&@3d you.” Dug into the ecu and found they never flashed it, and digital wrench won’t let you, they were suprised I even got them to fit and seal.

‘12 injectors will fit an ‘11 jug.
In 2012 Polaris sent me an ‘11 engine because ‘12’s were on backorder. The ‘12 injectors will work in that scenario.
‘12 injectors in an ‘11 electrical system will not in my recollection.

12 injectors physically fit in 2011 cylinders-- they just set in a little deeper.

You need to pick up a 2012 ECU and make sure the injector color on ECU and injectors are paired (dealer can reflash color)

I built three Indy Specialty TMXLR around 2011 cylinders and ran 2012 injectors and 2012 ECU's on all of them. The 2012 ECU will plug directly into 2011 harness.

Have you tried running a 2012 ecu with 2011 Injectors?

No....DEKA injectors are four hole, Bosch are 8 hole. I’m thinking the signal pulse would be different. At this point, you can pick up 2012-15 ECUs for really cheap. No reason to risk it.

I have a 2012 rmk 800 that blew up, and needs a rebuild including a new cylinder. I found a used cylinder block for 1/6th the price of a new one, but its out of a 2011 rmk.
From your post, sounds like my 2012 injectors, ecm, etc, will fit in the 2011 block without modifications. Is that correct?

You do not want to run a 2011 cylinder in your 12 case. The 11 cylinder will not fit properly. If you need a 12 mono block cylinder I have 1 I would be willing to sell.

This probably isn't helpful but I have 2 sets of 13 injectors, blue I believe, if you're looking for 13 injectors... Guessing not.

That is correct. A 2011 cylinder will bolt onto a 2012 case. The 2012 injectors will fit in a 2011 cylinder--they just sit a little bit deeper. I have done this multiple times over the years with ZERO issues.
