2010 Pictures!!

Originaly I was set on the M8 limited, but after seeing these pictures, I think I will go with the M8 Sno pro. The all black looks too plain, needs something to spice it up! I would like to see them in real to make the final decision.

only 2lbs less than this year, BUT they are all running m1000 cans. So that ends up adding another 8lbs+. Pop on a can and you'll be down 10lbs from this year.

Looks like some different front vent mesh too? Is the adjustable steering post still standard on all models or is it an LE/SnoPro thing only?

The adjustable steering post will only come on the Sno Pros, LE, and HCR. The standard M will have the old handle bars still.

I had the opportunity to do a night ride on 02-13-09 with three 2010 M8 SP's (two 153's and one 162)...put on around 60 miles in decent snow conditions. ALL I CAN SAY IS YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED! The horsepower is now 160 and there is weight dropped at the new skis, new seat (3 1/2 pounds) and new M8 motor (4 1/2 pounds lighter). I was not sure what to think about the seat till I had some time on it...it sits up much higher and it is easy to throw your legs over as it is tappered in the front. Not that mountain riders spend much time on the seat but it is nice going down the trail and sitting up higher just seems like you have more control. The material in the seat is different so you don't slip off the seat when it is wet and it is much softer than the boss seats that Cat offered with last seasons spring orders and the hcr's. The storage is as large or larger than last years stock seat and it is almost "dry" storage being there is space above the tunnel unlike last years seat where you stuff sat on the tunnel. The seat is a huge plus....the foot rails are different too...different angle, less teeth to hold snow and bigger cut-outs to drop snow. The front of the hood now come with frogskins...looking sharp. Now you have the best of both worlds...the power of a M1000's with the weight of a M8. The boys in Thief River did a great job on this sled!!!!!!! You ride it...you'll buy it!

Oh man, that only makes my summer look longer and longer. Any ideas on how to pass the time?

the first thing I thought when I saw the white one is. the decals look like chris burandts sleds.

that seat reminds me of the original rev seat, took a while to get use to but i think the sharper lines of the rev brought it in better. I do like it though, and for the graphics on the LE, i like that too cuz i just stripe them all of anyways
