What's the difference that adds 3 1/2 lbs to th M8 can? Anyone have a picture of the HPS installed? I like to see HPS's dyno chart.

Check page 2 or 3 of this thread. There is a picture of the HPS can installed. Very happy with mine.

HPS Can

Where's the best place to get a HPS can? So is that the way to go for sure? Other is there another option that would be good?

HPS is th best way to go. I had one on my 07 before I put a pipe. Love it on my 2010. You won't be disappointed.

Hillclmbr....I'm not telling you :D

TTT: Anybody got updates on which cans are working best. Mostly in the horsepower department don't expect to gain much just don't want to loss any horsepower.

Running the Super-Q on my 2010. When ordering, it's a different part number than the M1000, but it's the same can. The box has both #s on it when you get it. A little deceiving, but no complaints with the can. Good sound. Nice build quality. Louder than stock, but not ear splitting. No rpm loss, or noticeable power loss. Only complaint is the outlet, like someone said above. It's smaller than the stock can outlet and doesn't fill the hole. I took a piece of the foil covered foam that I pulled out of the side panels and shaped it to fill the gap.

Yeah my mbrp required a lot of silicone, it worked great but was really messy lol!
i like the foam w/ some heat tape idea let me know how it works!

Skinz Super-Q

I went with the Skinz Super-Q. $275 CDN from Dave at Altitude Performance. Sound, fit, and finish are great and have money left over to buy the AMP Gauge Cage. Haven't had it in the deep snow yet but Tee-Kay has one on his M and the outlet on it has as much or more open area and he has had no issues in the deep snow.

Super-Q letting snow in.

Super-Q is hard to beat for the price. paid $235 US
Sled runs great and nice sound.
Only complaint is that there was no flange to block off the outlet in the shock tower. I have riden in some pow and definately get snow coming in. Would it have killed them to put a $0.50 piece of steel there?

I'll just have to add a flange myself.

X2 on spending the money I saved on the AMP guage cage.

Hps

I have been very happy with my HPS can. No performance loss, feels great, sounds great. It is a bit pricey but worth every cent. Spend money on some of the cheap cans and you'll be paying for it with performance loss. There's a reason HPS cans cost $$$$. They're worth it.

Any pics of the Speedwerx Power Advantage can? Bret Rassmussen recommended the can. What are the results of this versus HPS and Q?

Ya, I took the plunge and jumped on the cat ship, I pick her up tomorrow. Can't wait to pet my new kitty.

I have a 2010 M8 HCR, I put a Bikeman Can on and feel no power loss compared to stock. It is too loud for me so it is for sale after one ride. It's ceramic coated and still looks brand new. I paid $389, will sell for $285, let e know if anyone wants a good deal
