2010-2011 M8 which lightweight can

I received the same info on the HPS can as M8Chris did. It does show a gain of 3.4 around 8200 rpm......As for the rest of the curve it dynoed in above the stock can. Take it for what its worth....I like mine so far..

What is the cost of the HPS can? Thanks for the help.......just picked up my 2010 M8 Snopro 162 yesterday!!! Looks good in the garage now I just need to start going over it a bit before hitting the snow. I will post up pictures later.

That sounds good, and that would be what I expected if I paid $390.00 for just a can. I would like to know if those numbers were on a heat soaked motor...........

What about?

I was just wondering about Speedwerx? They are still testing a complete exhaust system including the can. I like the idea they are spending time with system before they release it. If all you are looking for is noise, maybe anything will work. I like the sound as well but there might be more to it.

Just ordered up a can from HPS. Scott was a real nice guy there on the phone. Just some information I got from him.

Stock Sled measured with a db meter 3ft. from pipe wide open throttle measured 117 db.........and the new HPS can same distance measured 120.1 db. That seems pretty dang acceptable to me for a can that looses 17.5 pounds. Anywho........he was a great guy to visit with and I am jacked up to get the new can!! Even if they are pretty damn spendy for a can..........I was concerned about the noise and the above numbers helped put me at ease.

Sno Stuff Rumble Pack

Just wondering if anyone has ever run a Rumple Pack on their sled and if so, how was the sound and power? I know that they are quite a bit cheaper than all the other cans. Is this an example of "you get what you paid for"? Going on an 07 M8.

This thread is about '10s but that rumblepack isnt a bad deal, light and no power loss.

does anybody have the weight loss for the mbrp? and it looks like in the brochure that it's the same as the 09 1000 can #2250110, any input?
