There will be an update for sure on the gauge software. They had a lot of issues with that instrument all winter. The engineers have said they will issue the update and all will be fixed. I have been told, things like the fuel indicator, temp indicator, resetting of the gauge have all been addressed.

Its just to bad you have to run around in circles between your dealer and BRP to get anything done.

who's your dealer? because all the problems you've had and mines been awesome, maybe you got one build on monday! lol

at least doo steps up to the plate and fixes these issues not like uhhhheeeemmm polaris.... out of the last 30 sleds we sold this year 27 with blown cranks no theres no link there at all then they went and did it from 2001 till present hmm i wonder if they should take that back to the drawing bored....haha

For your info i have a XP. I'm not just some other brand loyalist in a forum i don't belong in. I can say whatever i like about the sled i bought. Its a free country. I have almost had every problem know to the XP other than the driveshaft. So get over it.

DOO really should have had all these problems fixed before 08 was released. They only had 2 years now to fix them and who knows what their fixes will be like. They say they are all fixed hmmmm........ where did I here that crap before????? Oh yeah the 07 p.o.s. that they still have not got right! I think the only thing mine has not done YET is blown the engine, but I only have about 800 km on it so it's coming I'm sure. Anyway hope they do get if all figured out. Wish they would have done as much for the 07! Good luck 09 owners! I will not be among them.

i would like to here every thing you guys have had break? seems like a lot of people whinning, but knowone listing what happened! mine belts, the only real big one!(and thats fixed) things like handwarmers and gauge resetting are minor issues. im talking who blew up 3 motors, suspension fell apart, things like that. and as for the 07 ive got friends that have them and after the clutch upgrade have been flawless, maybe they got a good one, i dont know.

1735 miles with only a broken recoil rope,some loose bolts and leaky oil cap. It still rocks the rockies.

Great sled or not, I try not to ever buy first year releases, - most the time it takes a season to get things worked out. The list of fixes/changes on the 09's was impressive but sad (I assume the 08 owners will get upgrades). We will be Snow Checking at least one 09 for next year, but you can bet we'll have our trusty 06X's on standby!
