Or they have a lot more turbos than they need and are worried the fall out rate of the already low amount of snow checks won't meet what they think they'd be able to sell otherwisethis tells me that there is probably something new coming and they need to burn up some parts before the release
You think thats the direction we will see on the Gen6 Platform?Got to get rid of some 850's before releasing the 900.
From a marketing point of view it makes sense. Polaris sold a lot of 9R's and continues to do so. It does not matter if the turbo R is better or not, the fact is lots of guys ride low elevation and want a lighter weight big bore. Polaris has proven the market and Doo has the opportunity to pick up some of that business. Naturally it would position Doo to have a bigger turbo offering down the road too,You think thats the direction we will see on the Gen6 Platform?
No thats not how the T3 was released. It was a snowcheck only for two years. It seems like we've seen this movie before. I might be off on some of my details but didn't the XM get the T3 package as a mid year release with bigger paddles and the 174" track which was carried on for one more season before the G4? And then the G4 got the turbo as a mid year release which was carried on for a full year before the G5 was released. That would indicate that the 2026 sleds will be the last year of the G5 with some spiffy accessories and bold new graphics and we might get a G6 for 2027.
Kinda think the Gen 5 might have longer legs than that given the current state of the ecomomy and Sledding Industry in general. It seems like we've seen this movie before. I would be totally shocked if doo releases anything new for 2026 other then BNG, and refinements. The lacklustre winters, the looming tariffs, poor sales, and the 0% financing, and it’s getting bloody expensive, those are key indicators at the moment.Kinda think the Gen 5 might have longer legs than that given the current state of the ecomomy and Sledding Industry in general.
But who knows.
Maybe we will get LUCKY.
You will see the 2026 soon enough now

It was cheaper for me to add warranty to my 23 then snowcheck a 25, and I usually buy new every two years, and I probably won’t this year either, I am extremely happy with the sled I have.
thats my expectation as well. Not yet time for G6, life span of a frame is around 5-6 years and G5 has only done 3 after this season.
If we look back, REV was 5 years, XP 6 years, XM 3 years, Gen4 6 years. XM was exception because sales were plummeting and they needed to hurry up to catch Pol. And anyways XM was more or less just an facelift for XP.
We probably get some kind of "facelift", just like the 2021 turbo lightweight hood was so it keeps looking fresh. And/or new naturally aspirated engine, as 850 has been around 8 years now which is already due to new engine. But 850 still performs just as competition with their newer engines so they have had no rush.
That is a good deal. Both brand of sleds have their pros and cons, but the NA feel of the turbo R is the icing on the cake especially when you install a Ibackshift clutch kit in it. I have rode a clutched and tuned boost with a doo track, the doo felt like it had more power way better throttle response, Imo, I would pick up an expert, it has upgraded shocks this year over previous years, I personally think the dusty navy is the nicest looking sled doo have made, the belt holder is behind the seat on that model, I don’t think it comes with the holder under the seat.View attachment 429499what can you guys tell me about this machine. Would you pick this or the black special edition shown in this thread? The expert looks like it has better shocks, has the adjustment limit strap. Not sure if it has the seat with belt holder? Is there a place to store a spare belt on a doo? Never owned one but thinking of getting this for my 2nd sled. I also have a 9r pro 155. Can't decide between this blue doo or a 165 boost pro or khoas. 2k off on doo and 0% interest is the deal. No set up or freight fee.
