2009 M8 First ride

that was pretty sweet, those new cats look pretty fun to ride, never thought i'd say this but i'm actually looking forward to trying one, when and where was that filmed?

We also got to ride the prototypes last spring. Too bad our conditions weren't very good. I love all the changes they have made to them. mmsport's, are you aware of any changes from the proto to the actual 09 consumer model? I've heard there were some, but nobody knows what they are....

Wow....

A 650 lb '97 Powder extreme 136 will climb as good in those conditions....

I am sure the new M's will be great, but what a LAME video to try to sell them.

Numb Nuts

Hey numb nuts not try to sell just sharing and showing. we filmed this in early march last year before they release the 09. This is why I put it just in the cat forum fist. We was just having fun and doc zoom was filming Not an Arctic cat pro motional video.

honestly, that was hardly a hillclimbing video tard. It was a playing vid i'd like to see a '97 handle like that.
They look pretty well balanced, can't wait to try one, I might have to change my mind about which is the nimblest sled lol, have to see what my new d8 is like

i had a chance to ride a '09 M8 162 sno pro last winter through listers motor sports up here in the Yukon, and it does work well... they set it up with simmons skis and a can, and it went better than the 08's we had for sure. the telescoping riser sure got floppy and got a lot of slop in it after the year.. thats my only concern with the sled as it was. felt lighter, more snap and the tunnel was great in deep snow.

Thats is why they got them out early and since then they have updated them so they should hold up.

what did they do to update the post? cause it was bad last year, i went out and shook the bars this morning and it was like an inch to inch and a half of slop either way... thats just in the bars, the steering is nice and tight.
