been up a couple of times . last time i was up there was 3feet at the cabin. ive been sick the last 7 days with the flu , and am waiting for a new sled to show up. the forcast is looking sick tons of snow and cold temps so i hope it stays that way .

Treat yourself while the white stuff's comin down and as soon as Geoffy's got himself a sled we'll be there. Something like first week of decemba!!!:beer;

Was out riding on wednesday, blew a piston on my sled about 14km up the trail, had to limp it down, then tow, then push it onto the sleddeck with my girlfriend.

Were you running on old gas? Just curious.

has any one been any where else other than boulder ? we were up sail 2 years ago early season , it was awsome riding ! also whats the snow looking like in town is there enough cover to ride from the peaks parking lot yet ?

Just got back from Revy. Rode Boulder Saturday....think there was 4ft on the pole but more up top. Trail was great......thanks SRS. Can't wait to get back out there. Didn't hit anything and the snow was really good. Last ones off the mountain and we literally rode til we couldn't see anymore....combo of darkness and snowing so hard.

Can't get the pics to upload but they weren't real good ones anyways......too busy riding :D

I rode til early June here in Whistler, then filled 'er up with 94 and put in some stabilizer. Drained the tank before I left and put all new 94 octane in. So no, was on a full tank of new high octane... huge bummer, at least it's under warranty though. Still a very large inconvenience, especially that far from home and at the start of the trip.

You can look at the webcam to see how much snow is in town. Its delayed 15minutes but you will see grass. It is 3-5C everyday so rain....not snow.

You cannot go from Peaks as (no snow) the trail takes you up the wrong way....right now there is logging until the end of November. You can drive up 4 Km on the Kirkup and ride the rest of the way to 4+ feet of snow, 6-10 inches of powder, not alot of sledders and tons of riding area. Frisby is also great for this time of year. Both are groomed already and will be again for the weekend.

Don't know about Sale, usually good early season but may also still have logging...not sure. Hope that helps.

you krebs and clayton should go check it out ! the whole mountain is open right now . im pretty sure their were done logging there last may . ill be up this weekend for 3 weeks i hope , im just waitin on the new track for the nytro

Hi Pylon, you all healed up ;)
There was a huge storm this summer and it brought down over 30 hectres of trees along the Veideman, that is what they are harvesting now. The plan was to be finished mid. Nov. but all the snow has slowed things down. Now they hope to be done by the end of Nov. but it might just go on into Dec.
If your heading up during the wk. you need a radio or travel in groups with someone with a radio, the frequency is posted at the trailhead.
The Veideman and Bezanson trails will be closed until the logging is completed. So no access from the W Peaks side.
It is illegal to ride your snowmobile on a plowed forest service road.
They are also still hauling gravel out of the pit at 2 km.
Head up the Kirkup, lots of parking and a groomed trail.

so you guys that went out today, would you recomend us comming out over the week, thinking of leaving tomorow, are most of the rocks cover up high, road access overall ok... is ther a snow base or is it all powder

thanks for the replys

Ya, Krebsy and I where the first tracks back to Turbo this year. We where out last week. 3 feet at the Cabin and more up top. Got stuck twice! Clayton was busy getting the new 10 person hot tub ready so he did not come.

Maybe if your there 3 weeks, we can check out Sale together. Claytons coming this way for the show this weekend and picking up his new sled.
You coming with Geo and charlie? (check out the pics on the S&M site....no not that s&m site....from yesterday and today on boulder and frisby....awesome!)
